I had a very memorable sweet 17th. :)
I thought it'd be like last year, when I just spent my day (after collecting my horrible maths results, i'd remembered) with liz and have a nice lunch, take neoprints and just have fun. But this year was, surprising. I totally didn't expect zina, simin, louise and bg to spring me with a bday surprise at vivo playground! xD Because before that simin told me she and yijie had their appointments, so they couldn't celebrate my bday with me yeah.
So when liz led me to the vivo playground, telling me before that she had to hunt for a shop which sells like dollhouse stuffs, I happened to spot zina with ophilia and her friend (yes I didn't see the rest of them at first), but she was back-facing me and I tried calling her. And she didn't reply me, so I thought I was calling the wrong person lol. Then I walked towards them, and then I saw bg, simin and louise sitting down. And I STILL didn't know they were there waiting for me, seriously. I even asked them why they were there! It took me quite awhile to get over my state of shock/surprise haha. So simin played me 天使, with bg and louise singing. It was really sweet, and I was touched but I couldn't bring myself to cry lol. And then I started to giggle, with my eyes getting slightly watery. Then zina passed me a heart-shaped cake they'd bought for me from breadtalk. I shifted the plastic wrap around the cake a little, and the pink mousse layer started oozing out! xD My fault, I took really long to appear (I thought I was celebrating with just liz alone, so I got her to cineleisure to take neoprints and have lunch with me before going to vivo to "get what she wanted to get". And I was almost one hour late meeting her, and I took surprisingly long to finish my pasta at shokudo.) so my cake melted on me.
Yup, and after that we left the playground and went to kfc for bg and simin to get food. After that they left and liz and I hanged around at vivo for a bit, before I had to leave for changi airport to meet my family for dinner and later pick my uncle francis and auntie judy when they arrived from korea after their 1-week trip. Time passes so fast, last friday we just sent them off! xD My parents treated me to a crystal jade dinner. Their xiaolongbaos are nice! :D Haven't eaten them for awhile.
After that when uncle francis and auntie judy arrived, we sent them back to their place in marine parade, and they unpacked some of their gifts for us. They bought us a lot of snacks! :) And then after that we went home. Tired! xD But I still decided to use my comp to upload some photos before I went to sleep at 1.30am lol.
I smiled myself to sleep that day. :) Literally. Thank you dear friends (those who celebrated with me and also people who sent me wishes on facebook or on my phone)/family for giving me such a wonderful 17th bday!
PS. Liz, your message for me, the last 2 lines were reallyyy wrong. xD

Spent my afternoon (I only woke up close to 12pm) editing/ uploading bday photos, and at night I went for Ronald Cheng X William So's concert at max pavillion, singapore expo. It was a wonderful birthday present! I had a really enjoyable time listening to all the classic love songs I'd heard on 9.72FM by the both of them. Their voices are charming... xD But they were speaking and singing in cantonese -due to the majority of the audience who were hongkongers and kept requesting for them to speak and sing in cantonese- most of the time, and my mum, bro and me cannot understand! Even though I'm a cantonese lol. But their songs just sound nice, even if I don't understand what they're singing. :) After the concert, my mum and dad started liking concerts too haha! They used to complain that it's a waste of money and stuff yeah. But got generation gap! xD Cos my dad was like saying, "Next time we go watch 费玉清's concert!"

Decided to wear the necklace you gave me yesterday. And very unexpectedly enough, I saw you (or I thought I did), but you didn't see me. You were with your friends, and I was with my family, so I decided not to go over and say hi. I realised you still make my heart skip a beat. Oh well. This is a very important time for you. Study hard! :)
