I'm leavin for China tonight le. I went for the briefing ytd (there's no interesting ppl of the same age as me >.<) and we bought many winter stuff last min. My woolly winter hat is nice :p I'm coming back on dec 6 morning though, which means i cant go for the 3 days of sj on the 2nd, 4th and 6th. Sad :( Hehex i'd plan to shop till i drop in China! Here's my shopping list:
1. Qipao (made of real silk)
2. Silk hanky
3. Branded goods (real ones)- I wouldnt noe whether they're real or fake though
4. Lots of souvenirs for my friends! :)
5. Creative mp3 player (dad said i could find it there -_-)
6. Lots of nice dvds
7. Tea leaves
and the list goes on... (i cant think of any other stuff at the moment)
I'm gonna eat all the nice nice buns there. I love buns hehex. Yup i think i shall end it around here. Bye~
Today's cip was kinda slack... nothing much to do. The books only came once. Well anyway, today we walked around downtown east for quite a few rounds le... until i think i know almost every shop by heart. We visited the arcade most. We tried our luck at the toy machine, where i fell in love wif the kitty toy. Candice and xh tried their best to get it for me, but to no avail. The last time we tried, the toy was gripped, but the claw loosened up and the toy wasnt picked up. Aww =( It was so close! I think i'd be sooo touched if anyone would be able to get that for me! Lol. I actually wasted 4 bucks juz like that. Candice and dawn were also not satisfied that we didnt get the toy, but we couldnt spend so much money trying our luck. I actually thot of goin to More than Words and the other toy shop under the mrt station (i forgot what name) to check out whether they sell that kitty toy... but nup, they dont. Sad =(
Candice, xh, eve and kay went missing for the later part of the afternoon, which made me, dawn and yijie search all around downtown east for them. But it turned out that they were in the room all along, hiding in their secret box hideout! -_- I actually went there to check whether they were there earlier on, but i didnt wear my specs so i couldnt see properly. I just took a glance and actually went away! Arrgh... if only i'd looked properly! Lol.. i think i'm really stupid can.
Candice says i MUST come tomoro to play MarioKart wif her, or else she wouldnt talk to me. Lol... looks lik i dun haf much choice... Candice is really nice can. She said she would help me get that kitty toy, and she tried really hard. She's such a great friend. =)
Two more days to my holiday in china, which means 1 last day for cip. =( Time really flies soo fast. My friends asked me to buy many things for them, since china goods are real cheap. Lol.. looks like i'm gonna be busy hunting things for my friends! Now i'm excited abt goin to China... =)
Today me, candice, yijie, xun and other 2h girls went to city hall for an ad job. It was about some anti-software thingy. But it's a private one for some company so we wont be shown on tv.. phew! Until now i still dunno what was the purpose of the ad. -_- Well anyway at cityhall mrt station where we girls met up we saw sir kinkeong. The 2h girls were shouting sth lik "king kong! kin kong!" (the nick on candice's jersey) while candice spotted the real kinkeong and shouted "kinkeong! kinkeong!" Lol. It was really a surprise to see him there though. Anyway, we took quite a while to get to the place where we were supposed to meet up coz we didnt know where to go. Oh and we went there, we were quite erm extra coz the ppl there were all lik 19 and 20 while we are 14. They looked matured. Not us. Well, maybe except for lynn and vanessa :). Yijie wanted to back out coz she felt so inferior to all the chiobus there. Haha but in the end she still stayed till the end la.
We went MosBurger for lunch (when it was lik 11.30am) after filming one shot... where we saw sir kinkeong again and also sgt sam who were at Subway (almost next to MosBurger). They were wif their friends, so we thought they were discussing project. Wah candice totally went crazy can. Anyway sir kinkeong came to us later and said hi. Oh and we saw mrs chin too! She was wif her boy-friend. Hehe :p All of us were having cheeky thoughts lol.
After that we went to change in our office wear. Seriously, we look too yound to wear such matured clothes lol. Yijie kept complaining that she looked lik an auntie while candice was lik telling everyone that she looked lik the boss. (She really did :p) Anyway, i couldnt fit in xun's mum's clothes. The shirt was abit oversized for me and yijie. Jollyn and candice's clothes fitted really well though. The heels were terrible man. We couldnt walk fast coz they (esp mine and yijie's) were real high! We bought ours last min ytd. We didnt dare to walk out of the toilet in the 1st place lol. We didnt even think we could balance on those shoes. Thank goodness we didnt see sir again, coz we were walking down the mall in a very awkward manner. We saw mrs chin again though... so paiseh can. Mrs chin said we could've borrowed her clothes! Aww... we didnt think of that lol.
We went to a few places to shoot the ad. Padang, Raffles Place, Orchard. We only had to walk around and throw some computer-related stuff into this special bin. We were doing similar acts at all the places! Haha but it was fun la.. We wore our office wear for practically all the shoots la! Except for the 1st one when we wore the tee that they gave us. I really should haf gotten myself a more fitting set of clothes. I looked stupid in an oversized shirt! But i spent quite alot of money on the heels le... so if i spent anymore i wouldnt be earning anything.
Me, yijie and xun took a president cab home after the job ended at lik 3.30pm (not even a day! :()and we were dropped off near orchard mrt station, while candice took the mrt wif jollyn. It was so comfy that all of us fell asleep on our way home. But it costed us a bomb as orchard was a long way from our destinations. I decided to wear my heels home and it was a really wrong decision coz i took forever to walk home from the mrt station, where me and xun dropped off (yijie dropped off earlier at her house). Although this whole job is kinda tiring (cip is much more better), at least it was a cool new experience... haha maybe i should wait till i'm older :)
Today was cip again. Hmm.. we had more books to sort out today. Well, we still had alot of time to slack away though :)
Anyway we went to this "old time kopitiam" place to eat today. The food wasnt nice and the service wasnt good. And it aint cheap too! Candice's "singapore style fried beehoon" was just fried white beehoon (it shud be brown) that looks lik what u'd eat in a basic buffet dinner. Xh's "katong laksa" was salty i think while sharon's "hongkong style fried rice" turned out tasteless. Eve shouted "The food's really bad!" on purpose in front of the auntie who was trying to get customers. Lol... she's really brave... Haha we decided to stick wif the food court le :) oh but i think candice wans to try out the laksa at the neighbour shop. Lol. :)
Today joseph and yijie were bickering so much we were totally laughing our heads off! Poor candice.. she was pinched (on the butt!) by yijie whenever she's pissed wif joseph lol... They all say that both of them looked lik a couple "da qing ma qiao-ing" hehex... Oh and candice managed to catch grace's (this lady workin for ntuc) attention today! She's always so funny when she goes gaga over pretty girls -_-". Yes, GIRLS.. not guys... Poor kokswee la :p
Oh and i got a real cool job! $7 per hour! So me yijie dawn eve and candice shall hafta skip cip on thurs :( It's an ad job i think... so it shud be really fun... wonder what the ad is about? Lol fancy me taking up a job which i dun even noe what's it's about... but since we're shootin an ad it'll be way cool... whatever we're gonna shoot :)
Aww man my dad doesnt let me work on sunday :( he said i should be resting at home on that day preparin to fly in the night! But it's the last day i can do cip and i really really wan to go :( I cant even fly back in time for the last day when all my frens'll be givin out books... Hehex i shall find some way to persuade them to let me go, juz like how i stil joined this cip although my parents didnt let me in the 1st place! Lol... any ideas?
Okay this entry is abit random. I juz went out and i saw Princess coming out. She was planning to go out for a walk i guess. Well anyway when we came to the lift there were some malays... and she went barking mad. My neighbour explained that she is always lik that when she sees malays or indians. Lol... but she's still cute la. She doesnt bite. And she loves to jump on me! =) Hehex.
Oh and maybe i can add in something abt the concert on friday. I went lighthouse church in woodlands for the 1st time... i usually attend service in lighthouse tampines... well it was way big! And it had many storeys too. The ride to woodlands was a looong 1... so sian can. I slept all the way there... i headed for my concert rite after cip so it was a rush rush thing... i had to skip my dinner too. Oh but i got autographs from the group! Yay so everything's worth it =) haha christian groups are fun!
I think i've been really lucky this whole week. Well, at least that's what i think... which makes me really happy =)
Take today. I went to the movies with dawn and xun at TM. Step Up was nice... although i was quite blur at times coz i didnt hear what the ppl were saying... i thot there wud be subtitles -_-". I like Nora in the movie... she's soo pretty and talented! After that we went window shopping. I wanted to get some basic tees for cip (i'd run out of tees to wear) so we went to this particular store. The salespeople there were really nice! I saw a tee at 16 bucks and they had a 50% sale, so i asked the salesguy whether the tee was before or after discount. The salesguy said i cud have it on 50% discount, although that tee wasnt supposed to be on discount. He was so nice can! Oh the salesgirl there was nice too. Haha but they give me discount quietly coz there were other ppl in the shop too. So in the end i bought a tee at half price although i wasnt supposed to. Xun bought something too. She got a discount too.. although it wasnt 50%... haha but it's still good la =) Too bad dawn didnt haf enuff money... she'd plan to buy this orange top at the store too. Who wudnt buy from such kind salespeople? =p
This isnt the 1st time i was exposed to such kindness. Earlier on this week when i was doin cip in downtown east and we went to the foodcourt for lunch, this noodle stall auntie gave me a special discount. The noodles costed 4.50 but she charged me at 4 bucks... and let me use my volunteer pass too. So in the end i bought my noodles at 3.60. Oh and there was a time when i bought a drink and requested for an extra cup of ice... and the auntie didnt charge me although she was supposed to...
Okay, this may be juz little things... but they really make my day... This was the 1st time i had so many "special" offers for so many days... Although i feel so paiseh that im treated differently... i shall buy more from these ppl next time =)
Oh and i was shortlisted for my scholarship! Although i cant make it on the interview date coz i'm still on holiday.. the 4th of december. =( My mum called up the in-charge to see if i cud change to another date... but she said that she cant promise coz the dates were all set and it was my fault that i didnt mention that i was unavailable on this date on my app form... yea it was really my fault... so i can only pray that my luck can last long enuff for me to change my interview date successfully... please?
Maybe doing cip makes me lucky. Hee. I simply love ME. =)

Oh, the class admission thing is out. I'm in F again! 1f 2f 3f 4f... haha so cool. Dawn and sharon got into the same class... wah dawn must be over the moon to be wif the one she LOVES again nxt year :p. Xiuhan's goin to 3j if i'm not wrong... sad :( I'm separated from my bestest best friends... aww. I dont exactly noe anyone from my class. I dont even think there's a squadmate in my class. That's even badder :( Okay, it's time i make some new friends i suppose. But me, xh and dawn have agreed to meet at our old place in the canteen during recess next yr :)
My teeth hurts! *ouch* I changed my upper and lower braces ytd. It's kinda tighter than norm this time. I was groaning in the night. Lol. Haha but i can endure very well! I managed very well w/o the painkillers doc gave me :)
Today is a rainy rain day. I'd wanted to go jogging wif my family today at the park. They wanted to train up abit so that they can climb the great wall of china 2 weeks later. Actually.. only my dad and i actually jog (thanks to sj)... my bro and especially my mum were strolling (instead of brisk walking which my mum earlier on suggested) can.
Yup I guess that's about all for now. Hehe i'm gonna maple le. My monkey needs alot of training before i go for my hol cip next week. It costs me alot lol.. and it only lasts me till Jan :) C'ya!
