Had 《茶馆》make-up lessons today with James, Zina and Jesmine. Cleared a lot of doubts with huang laoshi and feel more confident about the book now. Lol she almost wanted to kill me when I couldn't answer her 军事侵略 question oops. But at that time my mind couldn't register the fact that it's '列强侵略', like what the Western troops did. Friday (post CLEP camp) blues haha. And I blurted something really dumb towards the end of the lesson! xD
I asked huang laoshi how to use "鱼肉百姓".
Then Jesmine asked her what's the exact definition of "鱼肉百姓".
I tried to explain and said "欺负百姓", which was somewhat correct.
Then I blurted out a thought which came into my mind: "把百姓当成鱼肉".
And everyone burst out laughing! xD
Okayy I guess I say stupid things once in a while haha.
Then huang laoshi muttered "把百姓当成鱼肉... ... 为什么不把百姓当成鸡肉?"
Hahaha!
After that hung out with James and Zina for awhile, and then headed off to Pasir Ris to study alonee. Wanted to study in the library but it was full and the people looked like they're gonna hog the place for a long time so I went down to McCafe instead. Got myself a mocha frappe and sat down and read my econs notes, properly. Today was definitely much more productive than the past week! :D After I finished my drink I went window shopping around White Sands (I couldn't shop because James refused to return me money resulting in me being very broke today. :x)
PW meeting @ old place tomorrow! :D Love discussing project at Starbucks Citylink mall haha, it's so peaceful and conducive! Need to reach there by 9am, looks like it's another early morning!
