End of hols! :( 10:03 PM

School holidays ended! xD Started reopening of school with a H1N1 ppt by huang laoshi and intoduction of our new co-form cum econs teacher mr teo! :D Heh he looks nice, hopefully he's as good as mrs lee!

Econs test was okayy, I guess. Don't even know whether my case study answers were what was required of the questions, felt like I was doing a comprehension haha! xD Oh well, I did study really really hard for the test and I hope I can at least pass! Now history's the worry!

Heh rushed down for yoga with zina after the test, and had to cab down in the end 'cos we wanted to do the 12.30-1.30pm lesson. Bollywood fusion dance! :D It was fun as usual, though slightly tiring this time. Maybe it was because of econs test! After that we attended the 12.45-1.45pm lesson for belly dance beginners! Belly dance beginners was the same as the normal belly dance lesson I'd attended the other time. -.- I realise I still can't shimmy my shoulders properly and made a fool of myself again. :x Haha but it's still good exercise la! And I didn't wear my contacts today so I can't see the teacher properly. Attempted to wear specs during belly dance and ended up having my whole vision vibrating while I was doing the leg shimmy lol, so I had to take them off. xD Ahhh and this time I had more stitches when shaking! Ouch. :x

Spa + studying! 10:52 PM

Cancelled movie plans last min 'cos alvin got a mega-big sprain. :x Oops sorry for predicting that yesterday! And get well soon! xD So I decided to meet up with liz to study, who in turn asked chester to join us too. On my way to the mrt station I called the truespa hoping to get a slot today and I really did, somebody cancelled a morning slot! :D Spa was a super comfy 30 min back massage, and not putting cucumbers on my eyes like what chester assumed haha.

The spa lounge! :D Super nice right. But it smells like uncooked yellow noodles! xD

Heh they even provide fruits after the massage. Yay. ^^ Next session with zina after history exam!

Heh liz and I decided to study at wisma's starbucks! :D Yes, starbucks again hahaha.

Me and my oven-roasted chicken sandwich. Healthy but super duper expensive! xD Sigh healthy things are always so pricey.

Some time to myself :) 11:09 PM

Think I'd gotten a slight cold due to running about in the rain around paya lebar area to meet my customer. She gave me the wrong directions at first and I ended up at a mosque! -.- I even went to a big company and thought it was the correct place, then found out it wasn't, and that the company she works in is on the other side of the road, and I had to cross an overhead bridge and finally reached an ulu building, which was the place. And all the while it was raining, my umbrella didn't help much, and I was rushing to meet her so I was wet because I was sweating and because of the rain. And I ended up with a bit of a running nose today, so I decided to cancel all of my plans (including cheerleading prac, spa with zina, 2 yoga lessons and perhaps studying with angelina too) and just have some time to myself.

These few days of studying was pretty much long and routine, I guess. Though I prefer this than having lessons haha. So today, I woke up on my own at about 8.45am (surprisingly, I think my body clock adjusted itself because of the previous early mornings), ate breakfast, lunch and stuff, and did no studying (arrgh). I was about to fall asleep after lunch when I decided that I cannot waste this afternoon slacking when I have only a few days left, and decided to go to simei to run some errands, borrow something from liz and study at the starbucks at eastpoint! :D

Starbucks at eastpoint is duper nice can! The music playing softly in the background unlike the previous few which I frequent, and I managed to get a nice sofa seat next to the glass window after getting my drink. :D

Accidentally bought a venti sized drink! xD I thought the person was pronouncing 'grande' differently, so I said yes. Oh well, but it lasted nicely for the 3 hours in the cafe! :)

Heh heh. My comfy starbucks sofa seat next to the window! Halfway through a lady joined me and left haha. Sorry if it's random haha. I was in such a comfy position studying peacefully I couldn't bear to leave the place hahaha! xD

After that I walked to liz's house and she passed me a container of oat cookies made by her mum together with what I'd wanted to borrow from her haha. It's yummy! :D Thank you!

Okay I'm much better now. Tomorrow's back to an early morning day, this time to watch movie haha! Good night!

Study + yoga = busy me! 11:44 PM

No more extra week of hols! :( Which means I need to cramp all my studying to this week. Getting used to the 9/10am-5pm in the library with angelina sort of life now.

Had cheerleading in the morning today, then went to marine parade library to meet angelina to study. Later I hopped over to orchard to accompany my cousin sharon for complementary yoga lessons. Yay she signed up for the package! :D One more person to join me for lessons hehe!

Zina bought me the fishy pancakes from genting! Yay thank you! :)

Sigh, was planning to watch Threads of Destiny (this nice jap movie!) with alvin on friday, but I don't even know whether I should set aside time for entertainment now. :/

Haha I wanna go for gym soon! Went for one session last saturday and had a very helpful (and talkative, as claimed by him himself) personal trainer suhaimi. Lol he even asked me to add him on facebook! Didn't know he was that muscular till I saw his display pic. xD

Bikram yoga with sharon tomorrow! Hopefully I'm more used to the heat this time. :/

Blurting out random stuffs now, 'cos I'm in a half-awake state and I should get some sleep 'cos it's like 12am now and it's another 9am-at-the-library day tomorrow. School's reopening with econs ct soon! xD

Belly dancing! xD 9:49 PM

Started off with an early morning again, to study with angelina in school. Not very productive 'cos I attempted to study maths and I had to skip quite a bit of questions! :/ Was pretty looking forward to yoga later in the evening anyway. Angelina wanted complimentary lessons for core yoga (trains the spine and is good for dancers) with me, and I wanted to try belly dancing, so I went for 2 yoga lessons today.

Belly dancing was fun! :D Angelina refused to accompany me for the lesson, so I went alone, while she went shopping. I was throwing my face away myself in the lesson 'cos I couldn't shake properly. The instructor Kumar recognized me! xD He still asked "Today you alone? Your friends didn't come with you?", then I was like, "My friend doesn't want to try this dance!" xD Omg it's quite difficult to shake fast! Somemore need to vibrate your whole body with your legs. -.- The shoulder shimmy was quite difficult to do when it was sped up too. Need to coordinate a lot of leg and butt movements haha. Spent almost the whole lesson shaking my butt, and I even got a stitch halfway! xD Hehe some of the students wore the jiggly scarf thing, so the jiggly things made a nice sound when they shake.

After my lesson there was an hour break in between so I went out to find angelina and I decided to invest in a nike top 'cos apparently almost everyone attending yoga lessons wore tight sports tops while I was wearing my baggy orientation tee. And it was the 2nd time I was wearing it there 'cos angelina wanted to wear the tee. Perhaps that was why Kumar recognized me haha! Grabbed a quick dinner at a bakery, and angelina and I quickly rushed for our core yoga lesson.

Core yoga was basically quite slack, like compared to my belly dancing! xD Did lots of stretching to train abs and spine. And LOTS of breathing exercises. Lol angelina told there was one point of time when she almost fell asleep! Something embarrassing happened to me in the lesson haha. We were supposed to do some upper bridge thing, in modern dance terms it's shang4 yao1, and I managed to do it la, but I never knew how to land down properly ('cos the hands are in an awkward position after all)! xD And I flopped down with a large impact while everyone landed gently, and I was so embarrassed I started giggling, and angelina giggled too. The instructor even came to ask me whether I was alright! xD But I was really okay la, since the yoga mat cushioned me and stuff. Heh the yoga was pretty relaxing, though I still like energetic stuff like the dances!

Yay I'm probably going for one gym session tomorrow since I'll be passing by parkway parade. My aunt's having a housewarming party near there, and I'll be studying with angelina after that at parkway parade, and the gym's there haha. Can work out those fats after the buffet! :D

Namaste. 9:02 PM

Went for 2 consecutive (dance) yoga sessions today, and now I'm dead beat! My upper arms can hardly move, seriously. But I had sooo much fun today! :D Went for classical dance with liz and learned some traditional indian dance. Peaceful workout; but we still sweated haha. Reminded us so much of MICA! We performed an indian dance for the kite festival then. Did a lot of the peacock (is it menurah?) gestures haha. After that I rushed down to bring si min and yi jie for the bollywood fusion dance, and liz decided to stay on with us too. We danced to JAIHO! :D Not that it's because i's the slumdog millionaire song, I haven't even watched the movie. But the dance was so fun and upbeat! Had a lot of fun shaking around with the aunties, though I don't really know how to do the steps very well. The aunties can do so much better than us la! xD Heh I shall make good use of my 1-month package to master this dance hehehe. The 3 of them were pretty much determined not to sign up for the package after today's complimentary lesson(s) though, despite much pushing from my mentor, for 1 whole hour! I've already heard him say the same things for 3 times already lol. Haha but I hope you guys enjoyed the lesson(s)! :)

I think dance yoga is much much better than bikram hot yoga. The yoga I did yesterday with zina. We were stuck in a 41 degrees room, and though we were doing quite basic moves, I kinda felt dizzy for a bit 'cos I was overwhelmed by the heat, so I wasn't able to attempt the moves with my best effort. But must go for more bikram yoga to make my money more worth it! Somemore it's the best way to lose weight hahaha. :D It's like doing yoga in a sauna. But zina said I'll get used to the heat with more lessons, I really hope so! Or I'll just do the 37 degrees hot series yoga ba haha. Ahhhh I wanna go for my spa session tomorrow, cos my arms and my thighs are aching quite badly! :x I was so high during jaiho lol. Bollywood fusion dance was much more popular than classical dance; there were only 7 students in that big big studio for classical dance, and I bet there were over 40 students for the bollywood fusion dance! And both dances were taught by the same teacher kumar! xD He was in some traditional indian dance costume for classical, then he was like in sleeveless for bollywood fusion haha, and it's like a total transformation between the 2 consecutive lessons. Time passes so fast in bollywood fusion dance, unlike the torturous bikram hot yoga!

On our way to taka, we saw people selling very cute balloons in the shaw underpass! Apparently liz, si min and yi jie all liked the pooh while I liked the little tortoise from nemo (forgot his name) haha.

After much nagging from my mentor and they still were not shaken to sign up for a package by him, we were finally "released" and si min, yi jie and I went to taka's pepperlunch for lunch (liz had to rush off for her tkd outing; she was supposed to come with us but my mentor nagged too much and there was not enough time for her to each lunch with us. :x). I was super hungry by that time, after two dance lessons and so much preaching of the things I'd heard before again and again. And pepperlunch was having 30% discount so I ordered a set meal with a salad and drink and paid (slightly) less than the original price of one plate of chicken pepper rice! Very worth it right. :D

After lunch si min wanted to find her korean cd so we went to Heeren's HMV. After which we studied for a bit at spinelli's (and found out its business is actually not bad in orchard, unlike what we'd claimed in our econs project haha), and I left to buy my greentea chocs at taka! :D Actually I'd visited the counter with si min and yi jie earlier in the afternoon and I saw nana and farhana, but I couldn't get my nama chocs then 'cos they can't last long outside the fridge. So I dropped by taka before I went home to get the chocs, and saw MR MIKAMI! :D He's at his usual place, standing next to the escalator haha. Asked him whether I could work at taka during my dec hols, but he said something like 2 jap girls are going to work at the new ion outlet and blah blah, so there'll be some changes for this year. Ahhhh I hope they'll still hire part-timers for christmas! xD If not maybe I'll hop over to work at godiva (this sounds slightly mean oops) lol. Miss the times working in taka!

Dance, Subaru! 11:00 PM

Met angelina in the morning to watch Dance Subaru today. :D Dance Subaru was super touching! I started crying from the start of the movie! xD Let's see... I cried when I saw how desperate young subaru was trying to wake kazuma up by dancing like a cat on the hospital beds, when kazuma died, when mdm isuzu died, and the most when she danced the last contemp dance. She dances with so much passion and feeling, it's beautiful!

I think subaru and kohei looked really cute together. :D

Lunched at delifrance after the movie, after much, ahem, consideration by angelina lol.

Today's main course was grilled chicken with mushroom sauce. My set meal was super worth it! Main course + soup of the day + tea + dessert for $7.90 w/o GST. :)

Lol almost everytime I go to delifrance the soup of the day's always cream of mushroom!

Still got chocolate cake for dessert. Omg I feel so guilty. :x

Passed by the ROYCE counter at taka and saw yasser! :D He's still as nice as before. I also saw two unfamiliar faces too. OMG green tea's the seasonal flavour! I'm so going to get it soon, most likely tomorrow ba. Wanted to patronize him later in the evening but he wasn't there, so I decided to get the chocs another day. Can't wait to try the green tea nama chocs! :D

Early day again today! Okay now I'm missing sleeping in like first week haha. Cha guan bu ke and 5c12 class outing tomorrow! :D

BENNU frisbee training 8:59 PM

Today: BENNU frisbee training @ Sentosa! :D

I met li qin, sandra, cheryl and nicole chew on time at 10am harbourfront, but I was the latest and they had to wait for me... :/ Sorry! Omg I was super overdressed compared to them - they all wore school based tees (esp the red ace tee) while I wore a bright yellow tank! :x There weren't any dress codes la, so I thought it would be more logical to wear sleeveless (so that I won't get a t-shirt tan) and as light as possible (since it's super hot!) to a place like Sentosa. Oh well!

The weather was pretty "good" though. At least, to me. It was cloudy when we reached Siloso beach, and after a while it we started playing it started to drizzle. But for me I prefer it like this 'cos it's really cooling. Later in the afternoon the sun came out again and I think I got slightly sunburnt. But I spammed sunblock on my face so I wasn't sunburnt on my face but on my back I think. Today was fun! We trained frisbee, played volleyball, (liqin nicole cheryl and I) watched sandra, amy and eugene (yeah we met amy and eugene there) play with a whole group of guys (eugene's friends at the beach) and started making comments about them, and just sat down on the warm sand and gossip.

Me and nicole left at about 4.30pm (whoa that's like quite a few hours!) while the others continued to stay at the beach, and nicole went home while I decided to drop by Daiso Vivocity to tempt myself with all the jap stuff. :D Omg once I entered the place it took me a lot of determination to leave! Didn't plan to get anything when I decided to leave at first, but I spotted a cute cup last minute and decided to buy it haha. Then at the counter I saw something like slimming sweets or something and bought them too lol!

Window-shopped till 6pm and grabbed a bit at breadtalk (I finally felt hungry after not having lunch) before I headed home. :)

Yesterday: PW meeting + studying!

PW meeting failed quite badly haha. 'Cos melinda couldn't come last min 'cos she was sick (get well soon! :)) and jie qi couldn't come because she had a computer course. Which means it was left with me and zina, and we didn't have a laptop. I was the first to arrive at Starbucks citylink so I decided I should try the Starbucks breakfast platter. Haha it's super healthy, with the fruits and multigrain breads and stuff. Got mocha frappu, instead of the dark berry mocha frappu this time! Which was more enjoyable 'cos it's less bitter. :D

Starbucks was empty as usual when I settled down at the same spot again. I was like their 3rd customer haha. I had to wait for zina for about half and hour, and sat there feeling really lonely till zina came. xD

Angelina came to join us later, and we did some work and chatted in Starbucks till about 2pm. Zina had to leave for huiguan, so angelina and I went to RafflesCity macs to continue studying. Never knew RafflesCity has macs! xD I think it's new; it's next to the starbucks at RafflesCity.

Grabbed a bite and accompanied angelina to shop for her mum's bday cum mother's day present before going home. :D

Chaguan buke. 11:05 PM

Had 《茶馆》make-up lessons today with James, Zina and Jesmine. Cleared a lot of doubts with huang laoshi and feel more confident about the book now. Lol she almost wanted to kill me when I couldn't answer her 军事侵略 question oops. But at that time my mind couldn't register the fact that it's '列强侵略', like what the Western troops did. Friday (post CLEP camp) blues haha. And I blurted something really dumb towards the end of the lesson! xD

I asked huang laoshi how to use "鱼肉百姓".
Then Jesmine asked her what's the exact definition of "鱼肉百姓".
I tried to explain and said "欺负百姓", which was somewhat correct.
Then I blurted out a thought which came into my mind: "把百姓当成鱼肉".

And everyone burst out laughing! xD
Okayy I guess I say stupid things once in a while haha.

Then huang laoshi muttered "把百姓当成鱼肉... ... 为什么不把百姓当成鸡肉?"
Hahaha!

After that hung out with James and Zina for awhile, and then headed off to Pasir Ris to study alonee. Wanted to study in the library but it was full and the people looked like they're gonna hog the place for a long time so I went down to McCafe instead. Got myself a mocha frappe and sat down and read my econs notes, properly. Today was definitely much more productive than the past week! :D After I finished my drink I went window shopping around White Sands (I couldn't shop because James refused to return me money resulting in me being very broke today. :x)

PW meeting @ old place tomorrow! :D Love discussing project at Starbucks Citylink mall haha, it's so peaceful and conducive! Need to reach there by 9am, looks like it's another early morning!

CLEP camp! Well, it was not so bad I guess. There were quite a few interesting talks by speakers such as 林启元, 杨君伟 and 张莹, while we spent most of the time with the author 钟文音, who is actually quite good, but we don't understand what she is saying sometimes. Took a lot of photos yesterday night (a few of us stayed up all the way till 3am to gossip and camwhore!) and today. Here they are! :D
