Yay SYF! :D 8:57 PM

Been pretty busy lately, so I didn't have time to update my blog. I shall blog about 3 days at one go:

18 April (today)

First ever outing to a karaoke lounge (Kbox). Yeah 16 years of my life I've never stepped into Kbox or Teoheng. Ooh it's really fun! :D I went with Si Min, Zina and James. I sang quite a lot of duets with James and Si Min. And I found out that 被风吹过的夏天 is my 主打歌 haha, because that was the only song I actually managed to sing properly, as commented by James. xD But Zina didn't dare to sing in the mike haha. She'd burst out laughing whenever we tried to get her to sing into the mike. So funny!

And oh, Zina and I were out dancing in school to practise for our publicity video today, and after that we went to buy a cake for Si Min, 'cos she was complaining how she didn't have a cake for her birthday this year, her parents went overseas. So we went to Breadtalk and bought her a chocolate cake. I suggested it hehheh. The cake looked like this:

But what happened as a nice post-birthday surprise became a chocolate nightmare, for the four of us. We bought the classic size, which should be the 1kg one, and there were only four of us to finish the whole cake. So each of us ate about 1/4 of the cake! O.O Omg it was so sinful and totally fattening, especially the thick goo-ey chocolate top. We ate a slice each at Kbox and finished less than half of the cake, and after the Red Cliff talk in school we went to the canteen and attempted to finish the rest of the cake, which we did, 'cos Si Min said there was nobody in her house to eat the cake, except her maid. HAHA! And James was still going for a steamboat dinner after that. The rest of us planned to skip dinner after forcing the cake down our mouths. Actually, the cake was really not bad; but not if you actually try to finish 1/4 of the 1kg cake! That's like, 4 servings already. The law of diminishing marginal utility applies so well for this situation hahaha. xD I'm currently so sick of chocolate I don't think I'll eat any chocolates for at least a month. :x

Oh, and they accompanied me around after Kbox to shop for presents, before we left for school. Omg I'm so fickle-minded! I was like "Orange or blue? Orange or blue?" I couldn't make up my mind and kept asking the 3 of them. I finally reached a decision, which was orange, after much convincing from them. It was the colour which first attracted me anyway. The rest of the colours just look weird/ inappropriate. I took so long we were going to be late for the Red Cliff talk in school, and I had to treat them to a taxi ride, but I couldn't pay first 'cos I only had 4 bucks with me (all because I spent like over $200 paying for the rest of the OCIP tees; people please return me $$ soon 'cos I'm like super broke! :x). And on the taxi ride I was still reciting "Orange or blue? Orange or blue?" (It was something customised and I had to collect it later, but I had to rush back to school so I told the person to give me 10mins to change my mind after I'd left and if there were no calls from me it'd be the initial choice I'd made- orange.) But I didn't call back after 10mins, so the guy would've gone ahead with orange even if I decide to change my mind. And during the Red Cliff talk, I couldn't help but still think about the colours. And then something struck me, "What about GREEN?" xD But Si Min commented the green looked exactly like the colour of the golf course, and if you throw the thing on the grass you wouldn't even be able to find it 'cos the colour blends in so well, so I guess maybe not. And the blue was really quite a weird shade. OH WELL! Anyway after school I went back to collect the thing and the person showed me the thing, and it DOES look nice in orange. :) And I looked at the blue and the green again, and they still looked pretty weird. Okayy end of story! But all this fickle-mindedness was all because I don't really know what colour the person likes/ dislikes. Maybe I know the likes, but there were really limited choices and the other colours just didn't feel suitable haha. End of story!

17 April

Happy Birthdays! :D To MY BRO, LEE SI MIN, LIANG LAOSHI and JUSTIN'S BRO. Actually for Liang laoshi and Justin's bro, they aren't exactly closely related to me, but this is just to show how many people had their birthdays on 17 April hahaha. Anyway, after school I went out with Yi Jie to Tampines to shop for *presents and I had to collect OCIP tees. Omg the the 2 bags of 39 OCIP tees were freaking heavy and thank goodness I had Yi Jie's help; at least while I was walking around Tampines Mall and Tampines 1, I still had to carry the 2 bags back home of course. Yay our tees turned out real pretty! And it's all thanks to Si Hui haha.

16 April- SYF! :D

Omg GOLD GOLD GOLD! I'm super happy haha. It came as a nice surprise; 'cos we didn't exactly perform our very best on stage. For me, I was pretty nervous and my mind was like blank throughout the whole dance so I very much depended on my feelings when I danced; like how it felt when I was practising in school, so my steps came out naturally. Thank goodness we practised for months! :) But I couldn't develop my feelings in the dance much though, 'cos I wasn't even thinking.

Here are some photos!

Yippee! :D
