CIP was most productive today. I paired up with Yijie (she came over 'cos Bishan shift was not available anymore) and we sold 15 balloons, 5 notebooks and 15 badges. And quite a bit of people made big donations (like $5 and $10) w/o taking anything, so nice! Our tin was quite heavy by the end of our shift. :D
I saw lots of my friends/ people somehow related to me when I was doing CIP today! :D
Ooh I saw my SNCO mate (I forgot who he was, even his name!) and he supported me.
It was quite funny la.
*SNCO mate walks past*
SNCO mate: Eh, it's you ar!
Me: Oh oh, hello! Would you like to buy anything? We're raising funds for dementia patients.
SNCO mate: Oh, okay. How much is the badge?
Me: $2.
SNCO mate: *takes out some coins* I give you extra coins can right?
Me: Hahaha okay! Thank you!
SNCO mate: Byebye! *takes badge and walks into TM*
...
ME (to yijie): OMG I FORGOT WHO IS HE! I think I know him, he looks very familiar.
Yijie: Huh do you know him or not?
Me: I think I do... I've seen him before. He sounds like he knows me leh.
And after that I thought and thought....
Me: OH YEAH! He's my SNCO mate! Don't know from what school one. (Now I think it should be Tampines Sec).
He's very nice leh. After that he walked out of TM with a friend, and his friend supported me too! And his friend was like, "I don't usually donate to charity one eh." and he dropped $2 into the donation tin and got a badge too.
AHHHH! I still don't know his name! I didn't ask him 'cos I'm so paiseh that I forgot who he is and it's kind of hurtful if I ask him.
Heh, if any of my squadmates is reading this post now, you can help me guess who is he! Maybe SNCO group photos would help. He wears thick dark blue specs and is slightly round. I'm very curious to find out who is he!
Oh, and we saw Bowen (at least, me and Yijie think it's him) and he nicely bought a badge from us too. We met a lady who was from dunman high school and she was telling her friends, "It's my alma mater! I should support my juniors. " and she donated to us. :D We met Ms Marilyn Ling too! She bought a notebook from Ningli's group 'cos they were with us at that time.
We were camping at the traffic lights again, my usual spot. Halfway through we got thirsty and I got myself a cup of greentea from jollibean while yijie bought sweettalk. Heh my green tea is a very disgusting green, unlike the pokka one 'cos it's made from those real japanese tea powder or something, but it actually tastes quite nice!
Our very full donation tin! It was so full we could see the notes which were close to the top when we looked into the opening. :D Yay thank you kind souls!
Xiu han had the honour of buying the last balloon in our hands, (she was here for the 2nd shift) and she gave it to meee! :D So sweet. Thank you!Yijie and I ate lunch at Phil's after we were off-shift.

OMG I was eating the polar fruit cake which my mum bought and I found a stone and a piece of wood in it! O.O That was freaky. Heh my dad suggested that I write to the newspapers and I would get a reward for reporting the case. Aiya I don't want to create so much trouble la.

After lunch I met my mum and bro and they ate lunch at Phil's too, after recommendations from me. After that we went wallet shop and my mum bought lots of items for us 'cos they were having sales. We spent $70+ on 2 wallets, 2 pencilboxes and 1 clutch. Cheap right! So now I have a new ozozo wallet and myuk pencil case. Thank you loads mummy. :D
Heh. I saw the mrbean pamphlet today and I decided to take a photo of it! It's a whole sheet of discount coupons. Ahhhh very cute! :) I love mrbean hahaha.
