Randomness. 9:54 PM

Heh. Went to Plaza Sing with Xiu Han after school today and shopped at Daiso. I found an element cup which describes my character:

Hoho. I think it's quite accurate! :D And I'm very pleased with the last line hehe.

YAY and my mum just booked tickets for the movie preview of 17 Again next wednesday! 'Cos my bro's birthday is on 17 April, so it's kinda like a birthday present for him. Maybe I can get some movie premiums, like a notebook! :D I'm so so looking forward to seeing zac efron on the big screen soon!

Cashflow competition 9:20 PM

Heh. I joined the national cashflow competition with Yi Jie and left school early today. :D The game was quite fun I guess, but the HCI guys at our table won haha. Omg I had 3 babies (= more expenses) and lots of doodads (cards which force you to buy unnecessary things)! xD Somemore most of my doodads are things I buy for my kids, like toys and tuition. -.- I didn't even manage to spend my cash on big investments, the most expensive things I'd bought were only a 2/1 condo, duplex and 8-plex. I'm probably destined to be a housewive hahaha. AHHH and I even got downsized! :( I'm not so lucky today sighh. Oh well, but I kind of wanted to join the competition for the free goodie bag and tee, and make new friends too! The 2 HCI guys and 2 TJC girls were pretty nice acquaintances. :)

On a side note, millenia walk is SUPER boring! Yi Jie and I cabbed down with Yun Feng and Shile, so we reached early and started walking around. There were only electronics, branded goods and lots of cafes. This was probably my first time there, ad I don't really want to go there again oops.

Jap buddies. :D 10:14 PM

Yay went out with Cindy to collect our JLPT certs after school! :D

Yay we found midland building pretty efficiently this time! After we'd collected our certs we went to bugis junction and I accompanied her to shop for presents. We also went to MUJI! :D I splurged on redbean snacks this time.

We had mosburgers for dinner! Heh, we seem to be one of the few people who like to eat mosburger instead of macs and kfc! Cindy recommended me the cheeseburger, but I decided to go for the one w/o cheese instead. :) It's nice and cheap!

Yay my JLPT cert is pretty. :)

Omg I'm quite worried about James mouth haha. Because he likes to jinx me regarding my results, but so far he jinxes me (like I'm going to fail) and I actually get the exact opposite results! Which is a good thing haha. But there're also chances when he says I'll like get full marks, and I actually top the class. Okay, I shouldn't be so superstitious, but quite coincidental eh! xD So currently he Zina and Si Min are trying to jinx me by predicting nice things about my results. -.- Mean right! Heyy, but maybe whether it's positive/ negative comments, the result will still be positive! Haha I'm just thinking on the bright side.

No primary school kids no moreee! ): 10:17 PM

AHHHHH I'm not selected for the Service Learning Project to teach primary school kids! D: Omg how can moe do this to me?! (Actually I'm slightly worried that I would get into trouble for complaining like this, so I decided not to use CAPS for the name.) I was super looking forward to be able to teach the primary school kids. This is so sad!

Only Yi Jie and Si Min got in in our class. Awwww man. I should've made myself sound more free in that application form. Wu laoshi said they had to match timetables and they couldn't match my timetable with the teachers', and I guess the same would apply to most of us who didn't get in. Sigh I just got deprived of a happy opportunity in my jc1 life.

Oh, I'm missing the joy in teaching! :(

Mass PE wasn't so bad today, we just ran 2.4km. Stupid james told us it was 5km, and I believed. -.- Maybe it wasn't so bad because it was better than what I'd expected.

Hmmmm. And I realised that Amanda and Yue Sing are super shocked that I eat one spoonful of rice for dinner. But I have a huge pile of veggies so I don't get hungry haha. In fact I get super bloated!

Okay, I guess I should stop ranting and like, study for my econs test tomorrow. Good night!

Zone comp was today. Results:

AA- 1st
AC- 1st
NA- 1st
NC- 1st

When xun smsed me the results, I was like, YIPPEE!
I'm kind of reminded of the last few years when I was in comp team too. Actually I only remembered that I cried a lot. Win also cry, lose obviously cry. xD

Arrgh I would've gone to watch them today if not for my unfinished work and church (I haven't gone to church for weeks. :x) Heh, but I will most likely go for nat comp to support them I guess. :)

Okay. So I just danced my holidays away. Leaving me with lots of CLL homework to do! :(

Anyway, we (city people- year 5s) were pretty free today most of the time, 'cos deng laoshi and the seniors had other things to do in the other dance studio. So we started camwhoring around our empty dance studio! :D Actually it's only me, yingjie and nicole haha.

Photos brought back memories of me and you. 5:20 PM

Aww man. I was looking at past photos and I realise that I miss him. :( As a buddy, I guess.

We met in a special way. And there was this time when we hung out for quite a bit, but after that school started getting busy and I hardly had any contact with him.

Just when I thought I wouldn't get much of a chance to see him again (we live on different sides of s'pore), we coindentally became co-workers last dec holidays. To put it in a hopeless romantic way, fate brought us together hahaha. And he was as sweet as ever!

Your gifts remind me of the nice memories we've had together. :)

Lunch with Yi Jie & her family 5:44 PM

Went to meet Yi Jie at Tampines to get her zuo wen from her, so that I can help her pass up tomorrow. And I ended up having lunch with her family. They were celebrating her mum's bday. We went to some chinese ramen restaurant and they treated me. So paiseh! And happy birthday auntie! :D

Yi Jie extorted from her dad a bowl of sharksfin soup for herself with my presence! She said her father would order for her 'cos he'll be paiseh (if he doesn't order) since her friend is here hahaha. So mean. Tsk tsk Yi Jie. :)

Had quite a pleasant convo with her family. They said alot of nice things which tickled me pink. :) Like I look like a Japanese (yeahh!), "if you go and teach the primary school children all the children will like you because..." which led to Yi Jie arguing that I would be bullied by the children and blah blah. Quite funny hehe.

Heh. I wanted to help them take a family photo, but Yi Jie didn't want to take and asked me to take with her family instead! O.O She even asked me to post this photo and say it's my family can. Lol.

My super healthy 3-mushroom ramen. Omg there's like almost no oil in the soup! :D Happy happy.

My diet seems to be happening. Finally.

5C12 is turning vegetarian! O.O These vegetarian plates belong to me, James and Joanna hahaha, last friday's meal. Mine's at the bottom. :) All veggies + tofu one. But in the end class dinner ruined my plan! Oh well, it was the end of the term.

Last day of term one! And we had our 5C12 dinner @ school too. Omg I have a lot of funny things to blog about!

Funny thing #1
This is the most recent one, when I was going home with Si Hui, Amanda and Bing Geng after class dinner today. Now, everyone knows I don't wear my specs around...

We were at the 30 bus stop, and the three of them were trying to test my eyesight.

Me: *stares across the road at the advertisement board at the bus stop* Hmmmm. Actually when I look at the advertisement board over there now, I see a mess of colours. Oh, I can see a car!

Si Hui: NOOO Elaine that's a gas stove!

WHOOPS.

Funny thing #2
Nicole Lee, Amanda, Si Min, Zina and me were waiting for Huang laoshi to drive us in her car to get the food for our class dinner at the foyer. And we were thinking how it'd be more convenient if she has an English name. And I thought of a name- JANE. And they were thinking how this name was quite amusing.

We told Huang laoshi later. And....

She said: You know right, when I was in primary school, it was quite common to have English names, so I decided to call myself JANE. Until one day my friend tell me JANE is tarzan's girlfriend then I don't want to use that name anymore.

OMG! Am I accurate or am I accurate! Hahaha.

We were going to start our dinner, and we realised James and Bing Geng were not there.

Amanda: Where's Jun Jie?

Jun Jie: Here. -.-
(at the same time) Everyone: BEHIND YOU!

(I'm not sure about the exact scenario, but I'll try to write what I think happened)

Bing Geng and a few other people were talking about Bio and how your pupils dilate when you see far objects and blah blah at our dinner table. I was at the water cooler with Yi Jie showing her some of my modern dance steps.

And Yi Jie was laughing at my dance steps when I showed her some of my steps, so the both of us walked back to the canteen, just in time to see Bing Geng pointing at me. And the whole class (people who were present at that time) laughed.

Erm yeah. And scandal worsened again. It was really a very coincidental thing! I was walking back to the class when he was uhh, pointing to a "distant object"? Hahaha.

We were talking about examinations, and Huang laoshi was talking about how A levels are more difficult than O levels.

Nicole Tan: Huh how come A levels are more difficult than O levels?
Nicole Lee: Because O levels' ORDINARY level, A levels' ADVANCED level!

5C12 loves to gossip alot. Like seriously. Omg I was just walking back to the table with Jun Jie 'cos both of us happened to be at the canteen sinks together, and we were "caught having an affair"! And after that James go and chase Jun Jie all the way to the end of the parade square for some reason, and started doing some bollywood actions with the cars. O.O Hahaha and they're now accused of having some very wrong relationship!

Oh, after that I transferred from Bus 30 to Kembangan with Bing Geng, and I actually found that a lot of the scandals I'd heard are not true. Heh. It's actually quite interesting. And he tried to convince me that I'm not fact half the time. Oh well, both of us don't really care about our scandal much la haha.

Omg and I received 1 and a half song dedications today! :) My friends are so sweet right. But apparently, they like to label themselves as "anonymous" eh. Erhmmmm. Anyway the message for the first song was quite touching la. The song's love story. "Elaine I think you're very cute. You're my princess and I'm your prince." And the second song was Accidentally in Love, dedicated by James to 5C12, with an unecessary little sentence at the back which includes my name. Oh well, but it's still nice la. I guess.

And I declare now my diet has failed horribly today. NEVERMIND. I still have tomorrow! :D

Mashing eggs for our egg sandwiches. I had to lug 10 hard-boiled eggs to school today!

There was a surplus of mashed egg and a shortage of bread. So we spreaded a generous amount of egg for each sandwich! Nicee. :)

Our fruit salad! Hahaha our class dinner so healthy right. Salad dressing was replaced by fresh yoghurt. Because planning that time got meee! :D

#1 Shrooms Garden (omg I just found out today that Huang laoshi is a vegetarian! O.O She can only eat this pizza, with special request of no garlic & onions- they don't have it in the first place though haha)

#2 Veggie Lovers! I ordered this, but didn't have a chance to eat it oops.

#3 Trio Cheese! Cheesy and nice. :D

#4 Ocean Catch. Wanted to try this, but ended up too full with my 2 slices of Trio Cheese + Shrooms Garden pizzas.

#5 Hawaiian!

#6 Pepperoni.

Our 5C12 birthday cake! Actually it was meant to celebrate people who have their birthdays in Jan, Feb and Mar. :D

YESTERDAY: Outing with Liz

We watched Marley and Me! :D We were supposed to watch He's Just Not That Into You though, but it wasn't showing anymore! :( And I actually made a wasted trip to Downtown East thinking we could watch the movie there and then I had to travel to TM to join Liz and try our luck with the cinema there. So apparently it wasn't showing throughout all cinemas already. Aww man we missed it by one day!

Oh, and I was telling her how we haven't taken photos together for ages. So we decided to take some, with the help of uhh, reflective surfaces! :D

This was like a black reflective surface next to G2000. The photo actually looks so clear!

Hehe. This wasn't supposed to be a candid shot. One second before I pressed my camera's shutter, Liz had a really big sneeze and this was what came out in the photo. I thought it looked pretty amusing so I decided to post it here.

This was after we finished watching the movie. Another toilet mirror. The photo was supposed to show my red and swollen eyes, after crying so much. But cannot see leh! Haha.
