Omg econs is making me more aunty! xD

I just went to NTUC and bought 2 boxes of cereals and 2 boxes of granola bars, because they're on discount (from $3.70 to $3.30, and from $6.95 to $6.15 respectively), and the promotional period ends today. Now that I know how the market system works, it makes me tempted to buy more when I know something is to my benefit as a consumer hahaha.

Ooh dance was quite good today. But I only received the message saying dance was changed from 11.30am to 10.30am, at 9.30am today when I switched on my phone. Thank goodness joanna was able to send me to school, together with jocelyn, or else I would've been late. It's nice to have so many dhs people living in pasir ris! :D Anyway, liu lao shi commented that I improved for the SYF dance, and I'm quite happy. ^^ I'll work harder! And we had our measurements taken for our costume too. Yay we're getting our costumes from CostumeShop! The current design's a gold halter with a slit diagonally down the stomach which is in white, with a (similar) white long skirt, all the way down. It sounds really pretty! Oh and deng lao shi started choreographing the other dance too. And I can't help but feel it's ghostly! All the slow creepy movements and stuff. But I'm enjoying it, because I can remember the dance steps because it's very cope-able. I actually think it's quite interesting, but I have a feeling no one's going to understand what we're dancing. -.- I don't know myself too!

Oh, and Liz showed me the MV for Love Story, by Taylor Swift (she had ISAC in school, and it ended around the same time as me so we went out together). Omg omg it's reallyyy sweet! I'm getting kind of addicted to the song, I think I'll change my blog song to Love Story soon. :D Sigh Liz wanted me to make the music box visible so that she can pause it whenever she wants to, so now there's this inproportionate box at the top left hand corner of my nice blog skin. -.-

Happy Birthday Edison! (: 9:37 PM

Happy Birthday Edison! :D

He's like 21 years old already! A legal adult. I'm not even 17 hahaha. I was the youngest part timer at Royce can, even Gladys' one year older than me.

~~I took this picture from Gladys' cam; since she wasn't going to come online tonight and I was eager to put our group photo haha. I'll replace with the higher reso original photo when I get it!~~ Here's our group photo! :D

Gladys and I met up at white sands to get another keep-able present, next to our large box of nutty bars (pronounced by our royce ahbeng as 'naughtybars'). And we could hardly find anything in pathethic white sands, so I suggested giving him neoprints with our greetings on it! It worked out pretty well hahaha. :)

I took the pics of our neoprints on the machine, since we wouldn't be able to keep the neoprints. But it's slightly blurred though.

Hehe quite cool right! I always come up with interesting ideas. :D

Oh and I had cip earlier in the morning too! And I cam-whored with simin quite alot, 'cos after a while we were quite tired of selling our heart balloons, notebooks and badges. I still have 2 more sessions to go eh! Simin and I'll be at tm, come support us next sunday! xD

Our lunch! Simin was really tempted by Ramen Ten when we were making our rounds and she influenced me, so both of us went there to have a good lunch after our CIP. :)

There was a sony ericsson roadshow where we were stationed (at the traffic lights on tm's side), and when our shift ended a couple of guys were performing a jason mraz song with his guitar (there was a jason mraz SE promotion). Both me and simin think the chinese guy sings very well and he's quite good looking hahaha. ^^

I'm tireeed. And I have to study for my history test already. Good night!

Bruises bruises bruises. :x 10:30 PM

Omg I have really big bruises on my knees now! :( It's because of dance; I have steps which require me to kneel down fast, so I guess that caused the bruises. Dance was mentally/ physically draining for all of us today. We were dancing in the hall and no fans were allowed to be switched on! Oh well, the teachers said we improved alot, but we still have lots of room for more improvement. But I never regretted joining dance; it's what I like and what I'd first and only thought of joining when I looked down the whole CCA list for SH. And my right split's improved! Yay let's all work hard for SYF! :)

Went out with Liz for dinner yesterday after dance practice! Poor liz, I made her wait so long 'cos dance ended late. Sorry! (But she took the time to do her homework, so actually it wasn't so bad heh.) Sighhh we see so little of each other in school, since our subject combis are like totally different. So we kind of settled on dinner together every friday. Except for times when we have something on/ we are broke. We had to go to suntec 'cos we wanted to get Royce chocs, and I brought her to Soupdelicious, the restaurant which Lee Simin introduced to me and I liked it alot. Yay I managed to try the brocolli soup this time! :D

It's good and healthy! :D:D

I chose cheery potato salad for my set meal this time. Hmmm. I kind of got sick of it after a while; too much carbs. I think I'll just go for the sandwiches next time.

After that we went shopping at Royce. Liz wanted to get something for Chester while I wanted to buy a present for Edison (my colleague- so Royce chocs would actually be quite meaningful). I saw Farhana working there! :) Awww man nuttybars (small) were still out of stock! I'd wanted to get a box of small nuttybars for Liz for vday but it was out of stock at that time too and I was too broke to get the larger box. But I couldn't make a wasted trip this time since Edison's birthday is like tomorrow and I'm pretty much sure stock won't come in so soon. And omg NAMA chocs were all sold out except for white! I'd wanted to get aulait but it wasn't available. ):

The horoscope which Nicole read out for me from her i zhoukan was surprisingly true. That I would be broke this month, from spending too much money. Currently my wallet's notes section is EMPTY! :( Whoa I haven't emptied my wallet for a long long time. I think it's all the shopping for vday presents. And Liz and Gladys owe me money. Haha and the horoscope recommended me to stay at home and WATCH TV, so that I won't spend unnecessary money. -.- Apparently I would not and cannot follow such a suggestion 'cos busy me needs to go out every day of the week.

Gee, I need to go study about Dementia. I'm doing CIP at TM tomorrow morning, selling the nicenice heart shaped balloons and notebooks and badges! So happy hahaha. :D

Yay and Edison invited me and Gladys to his 21st birthday party at Aloha Loyang tomorrow. Looking forward to see my colleagues again! ^^ Happy birthday in advance Edison!

I'm doing an advertorial for Melinda! She designed this pair of lovely shoes for me. :D

This is the first time I'm making customised shoes, and I'm really satisfied with the results! Melinda's art is really good, for one thing. I just gave her the theme which I wanted (bunnies+love), and ta-daah! One pair of pretty shoes which are so... ME. <3>

14 February- The real Vday. 9:27 PM

I had dance in the morning today, and angels were revealed. Angelina never guessed I'm her angel! xD But I'm glad she liked the strap I custom-made for her. :D And I found out my angel is Mei Xian! She gave me a bear-lookalike-bunny. Heh it's cute, thank you! Ahh SYF is coming, and the seniors are quite stressed up. Jiayou everyone! OOH I can almost do a right split today! I was like, 1 inch off the ground or something. Yay I shall work harder!

After that I went to meet Yi Jie for our 'date'. We went to watch The Wedding Game, and we thought it was nice! :) Fann Wong and Christopher Lee were really funny haha. I think it's heartwarming and sweet when they really fell in love with each other at the later part of the movie. Oh and we couldn't sit with each other 'cos we bought our tickets late, so we sat front and back. And beside us were couples! We felt so weird la; when we were queuing we were stuck in between lots of couples too! Nevermind, we had each other hehe.

I had fun today. It's nice spending vday dancing and watching a romantic comedy with a girlfriend! :D

Happy Valentine's Day '09! 11:33 PM

I had a very teddy-ful valentine's day! Omg my soft toy collection is booming! Thank you everyone for all the sweet presents! I'd have gotten everyone I know something, but I couldn't because I don't have enough money. xD Nevertheless, I love all of you my friends! :D

I took pictures of all my Vday presents haha. I always appreciate all sorts of things I get from my friends!

Had dinner with Liz at the soup spoon today. Our long-awaited outing! We created our own romantic ambience by placing Liz's rose in the middle of the table. :D

Tried the tokyo chicken stew and caesar salad! But I still prefer creamy soups, like mushroom soup. :D

All dancers have a date with Deng early in the morning on Vday tomorrow. -.- Then after that I'll go for my date with lovelove! :D Hahaha.

The White House 10:34 PM

Ooh I found out what's the 'White House'! The White House is the official residence and principal workplace of the President of the United States. Gee I never ever knew! I think I first heard of the term during GP lecture today. My general knowledge is THAT bad! xD I thought the White House is a building that's completely white or something.

My angel finally responded today! :D Heh, I'm super duper happy. I thought she (I'd found out it's a she) wasn't planning to acknowledge me or something, since I haven't heard from her all this while, and our game started on Monday and it's ending tomorrow. She gave me MUJI marshmallows! They're reallyyy nice, thank you!

Omg and Nicole Lee just started this note on facebook which is filled with my quotes. -.- I think my blurness is deteriorating!

Yay I'm looking forward to tomorrow! ^^

Hahahaha I received this long list of comments after I posted my note on "25 things about ME". I thought the comments were pretty amusing myself, so I decided to post it on my blog, for the benefit of the people who do not use facebook/ who is not a friend of mine on facebook (add me! :D).

25 things about ME. :D

Loads of people have tagged me already, and I finally found out how to write a note on facebook! So here it is:

*This note is for people who really don't know much about me, actually. People who know me well would realise that some points do not need to be mentioned at all, because it's so obvious/ I made it so obvious haha.*

1. I like Elvin Ng! I even had a chance to kiss him (on the cheek) hehheh. That was super memorable.

2. I'm SUPER fickle minded, especially when it comes to buying things. I can go from deciding between 2 colours, to deciding which item (out of 2 identical items) is of a better condition, packaging has less creases etc. I can't help it! Please do not go shopping with me if you're an impatient person haha.

3. I'm a hopeless romantic! I like cliched movies which have happily ever afters. And I believe in prince charmings hahaha. Oh! I especially like HSM movies because it feels realistic, like high school life. Sometimes I wish I can be Gabriella and be with a sweet guy like Troy! :D

4. I take really long to write my assignments. Because of my emphasis on handwriting. I take approx 2 seconds to write an alphabet, when I want to be really neat. Writing postcards/ notes would require me to tear up a couple of drafts before I end up with a perfect one, because I don't even want to use correction tape haha.

4. I'm health-conscious! Although there may be exceptions sometimes. But I try to choose healthier choices out of everything I eat. Like I would choose veggie lovers for pizza, grilled chicken bun + corn cup + milk/ apple juice happy meal for macs.

5. I'm totally feminine. I like pink, hearts, flowers, teddies, strawberry flavours and I like to do girly things, like modern dance.

6. I like to walk around w/o my specs, and most of the time w/o wearing contacts too. So I accidentally ignore people who say hi to me from afar quite often, because I can't see them. I'm sorry!

7. I like MrBean red bean pancakes (red bean= healthier choice)! And I totally love the MrBean character haha. It's super cute!

8. I love anything associated with Japan. For example, kimono dresses and green tea flavour. Ooh I love pokka green tea and uzumaki matcha icecream! :D Heh heh I'm happy I can speak jap.

9. "I wear my heart on my sleeve. " *looks at my sleeve* --- inside joke, but actually it's true to a large extent. XD

10. I listen to people's recommendations way too much! And most of the time I would regret having taken their advice. One example is my prom night hairstyle. I wanted a nice girly hairstyle, but I had shoulder-length hair so I couldn't have curls or anything, and the hairstylist suggested crimping. I didn't know what that was at that time, but the hairstylist said it's nice so I decided to try. And I totally freaked out after that. It costed me $90++ to do that hair!

11. I canNOT wear high heels. People who've seen me in high heels comment that I walk like an elephant, because I keep stomping in them. And I keep attempting to run in my heels, which makes the sound created even worse.

12. My childhood ambition was to become an air stewardess, 'cos I love the services sector! :D Actually I'd like to just marry a rich husband and settle down though.

13. I haven't touched fries for years! At least 3 years heh.

14. I'm always aiming for my perfect weight of 47kg, so anything higher than that I would consider myself as fat. But lots of people have reassured me that I'm not, so I'm not making any stubborn attempts to lose weight. Free periods in school are tempting me to eat more! Sighh. XD

15. I lovee to draw smileys. :)

16. I wish the world was happy and peaceful; so we don't have to study about so many wars in history. -.- Why can't history be like, studying about how princesses lived and having role plays about life in the royal palaces in the ancient times or something?

17. My favourite disney princess in cinderella, 'cos she is kind, humble and hardworking. :D

18. My favourite country, so far, would be korea. It's super pretty! And the shopping there is good, fashionable and of reasonable prices.

19. I've always wanted to try a beard papa custard puff, but I'm freaked out by the generous amount of custard in the puff: fats! People who've tried it, is it nice?

20. I can't take too much chili, or else I'll tear. The other time at ghim moh the stall uncle didn't hear me requesting for no chili, and he mixed the samal chili in my fishball noodles. I attempted to eat it, and halfway through I started tearing and sniffing! Sweet chili's fine though.

21. I do not wear black clothing, if I can help it. I don't like black! It's so dull. Although LBDs are actually quite nice, but I think it makes me look weirdly matured. I very much prefer white/ bright happy colours for my dresses. :D No black shoes too!

22. I want to be a bridesmaid for someone's wedding! Omg this is super random haha. But I've never been a bridesmaid before, and I think the dresses are very pretty.

23. I have a heart-shaped face. <3

24. I window-shop everywhere! Even at popular bookstore haha. But my best window-shop place would be Forever 21 @ Wisma Atria, because they have a large variety of clothes and accessories there.

25. Vday is coming! I secretly want an open admirer heehee. Not very possible la! But the hopeless romantic likes to dream. :D

It's a unique face shape ma! :D I've read in a mag if you have a sharp chin and your forehead is wider than your chin, you have a heart shaped face. Somemore I have a widow's peak for that bend-in of a heart! ^^

I love school! 9:44 PM

I think I like my senior high school life. Especially with my subject combi. I really like my H1 Maths teacher! I'm glad I didn't insist on appealing for H2 Maths; I'll probably die in there, hearing from people what they've learnt in the H2 Maths lectures so far. I'm starting to understand Maths concepts properly! :) And I like being the CLL rep too; the teachers are all very interesting hee. I need to do lots of reading, but I guess I don't really mind; it's really better than studying the physics textbook or something.

Heh. We were supposed to post a literature piece on the CLL forum in moodle, and teacher would let us share why we chose our pieces in class. I was the first on the list to post, and everyone knew why I posted the poem before I even said anything! XD This was what I'd posted:

Is it really that obvious? Hahaha. But actually I DID pick this poem because the title caught my attention! :D And the author is somebody I recognise, because he wrote the poem 《再别康桥》 too, which I tried to memorise for my CLEP scholarship interview. Actually I don't really understand what the poem means! XD But it sounds pretty sweet, with the stars and nature.

5C12's Angel&Mortal finally settled today! We're playing with OGLs and CT. And valentine's day's just next friday. -.- I picked a very interesting mortal! Hehheh.

Omg! I really like Mr Bean haha. It's super cute! :D I've been buying the red bean pancake quite often these days; with stores at Eunos & Aljunied MRT, I can eat it whenever I want! :D I'm waiting to buy the Mr Bean-on-a-swing figurine, which would be available on 8 Feb.

Ooh I have lots of homework this week! I shall start doing soon. Good night! :D

SHSC election 10:01 PM

SHSC election results are out!

I didn't get in la! Hahaha. Quite expected actually; bennu has lots of competition. But I'm really appreciative of the votes I'd received; at least I didn't fail horribly with 0 votes or something. Zina and I were talking about how we have confirmed that we're low profile people! XD Oh well, hopefully through this campaigning thing more people would know about me, in a positive way.

Hehe. And I realise I like to make people happy with little gifts. ^^ Talk about gifts, Valentine's Day is coming! :D I think I'm one of the few who treat Vday so importantly. Hopeless romantic ma! I think I'll be broke shopping for presents again. If I'm lucky I'll receive some gifts too! I think receiving roses/ teddies would be nice. *hints angel* Actually I'll love any gift I receive on Vday!

Omg I have alot of reading to do. What to do, I'm in arts class. -.- I need to get used to reading my CLL books and history notes on a regular basis!

Sore throat ): 11:06 PM

I woke up in the morning and had a super bad sore throat. :( But thank goodness it's not the lose-your-voice type, it's the inflamed type. So I sounded perfectly alright on the outside but I was feeling horrible inside today in school. Especially whenever I tried to swallow. And mass pe just made it worse! Climbed flights of stairs over and over again, and did jumping jacks, pumpings and situps. Actually it's better than the previous mass pe already; at least it's held in school and mostly under shade.

I realised my pink name cards are pretty popular after all, so I decided to make more and hand them out tomorrow. Yay people are actually willing to advertise for me! :)

Handed out the neep nibbles today! :D Thanks to wayne who helped me to hand out to his classmates and sihui for handing the rest of the packets to more people after I left school hee.

Here's the making of the neep nibbles! Received photos from liz today. Pmz and I went to liz's house to pack the cereals on sunday. And there was very strict QC from me! XD No deformed cereals, standardized quantities of 4 honeystars and 4 frootloops in one pack, no slanted stickers etc.
