Today is the long-awaited PAYDAY! :D
Rushed down after modern dance practice in school, which ended late again. -.- But I like the new dance deng laoshi is choreographing though! Anyway, I reached cityhall mrt and was about to rush off into citylink mall when I saw my colleagues standing at the side. I didn't wear my contacts again so I didn't see them before I got closer. Sometimes I wonder how many people I missed waving at me from afar and I ignored them because I didn't see them haha. XD My eyesight is THAT bad! Yay it was nice to see them again! :D Cempaka (and her boyfriend hehe), Gladys, Wani, Ah Beng Edison and Said. Funny bunch of people; all older than me. So I waited with them and when everyone was there we walked to suntec city royce chocs store together. It didn't feel so long when you have people walking with you. :)
We were supposed to collect our pay at 1pm, and all of us were pretty late haha. It didn't really matter though. We went into the store and looked around. Oh the christmas collection tin is having a 20% discount! :D Hahaha, I knew it. Yasser told me there wouldn't be any discounts to clear stocks when I asked him! I felt so tempted to get the assortment tin because it's really pretty, and I like the choc products inside, but I decided not to in the end. I've been eating too many chocs these few days haha.
I earned $640.50! :) Hahaha not bad right. Although it didn't feel like it's alot compared to Cempaka and Said's $1000++, but they worked longer after all. I only worked for like, 9+ days because of my dance commitments and the sj dinner. Mum's gonna open a bank account for me so I can store the money in and have my own ATM card! :D But there're not many chances to go to the bank when school's taking up my weekdays and the bank closes at 1.30pm on saturdays, and that wouldn't work out too, 'cos I think there's dance every saturday or something. Ahhhh I want my bank account!
I feel rich. And I'm not going to go on a shopping spree or something! I shall be good and start saving up. Okay, perhaps an occasional splurge on something I really really like, but I'm going to prove to my parents that I'm going to handle my NETS card well! Like I won't empty my bank account or something, haha. ^^
Orientation's next week. And I think I'm looking forward to it 'cos my seniors made it sound like it's going to be quite fun? :) It gives me about one more week(end) to finish my bsp lunwen and gp essay too!
Looking forward to nc'07 outing tomorrow too! Haven't met up as a whole team since, a couple of years ago? XD Awww. It's the last day of my sec4 holidays already...
