NC'07 outing 10:00 PM

NC'07 outing was fun! :D

Finally a full nc outing. Steffi, peirong, candice, me and xunlin, with mentors mdm huiru, sir ky and mdm xinying. The original venue was supposed to be at downtown east, but mdm huiru sprained her ankle last minute, so the whole team decided to go to her house since she has trouble moving around. Hope she gets well soon!

We started out playing taboo. Omg the cards are full of random words! I normally get through blurting out words I feel are linked to the word which I can mention. Like one word was "organic", I blurted out "vegetables" and "healthy". Then the pizza we ordered came and we watched tv while eating. Some cable tv channel was playing a repeated movie which I've seen a few times on channel 8. Direct translation of the movie title's "I can see ghosts with my left eye". I never liked ghost movies, but this is one sweet ghost movie which left quite a bit of impression on me. The ending was touching! ^^ The person you love has always been beside you, protecting you silently. Just like a guardian angel! But in the case of this movie it's a guardian ghost. But it's just as romantic! :)

The funniest incident happened when we were playing "indian poker". In this game, you have to get one card and place it on your forehead without looking at it. So the others can look at your card and you can look at everyone's card except your own. And you're supposed to persuade others to change their cards when they have cards with really high values and persuade them not to change their cards when they have cards with really low values. So that when everyone puts down their cards, you wouldn't lose because your card is of the least value.

Sir ky had a diamond 3. And everyone was persuading him not to change his card. I think we weren't convincing enough, because he finally decided to change his card.

He put down and looked at his card. "Asshole!"- (I think he exclaimed this because he realised he almost fell for our trick of not changing his card), and grabbed the next card from the deck and promptly put it up on his forehead.

Everyone burst out laughing. Real hard.

Omg the card was the exact same one as the one he wanted to change! DIAMOND 3! Hahaha that was really very much of a coincidence, when there were 2 decks in the whole pile of cards. We couldn't help it; I think he was very happy that he changed his card and didn't listen to us, so he thought he would've gotten a better card. And when it was time for us to open our cards we laughed even harder. :D

Played more games with poker cards and started gossiping. Hahaha yeah we went round the team and realised that peirong is very clean! I really cannot think of any gossip related to her eh. Squeezed some juicy information out of candice, mdm huiru and mdm xinying!

I just watched the alternative ending of "The Little Nonya". The 3 minute shot was more of an explanation of the original ending! Nothing really different. Chengxi and yueniang still didn't end up together. No kissing scene! XD Oh well, the hopeless romantic nature in me understands that this is an expected ending in their era. At least they love each other!

Orientation's tomorrow, and I have to get to school early... I'm feeling sleepy~ Good night! :)
