SENIOR HIGH ORIENTATION '09 was great! :D
I spent this 5 day 2 night camp with my new class 5C12, mostly with my OG, B3: Lee Simin, Nicole Tan, Gloria, Jesmine, Lin Yun and Jun Jie. There were our direct year 6 seniors who joined us for the first 3 days too, Grace, (another) Nicole Tan and a couple of guys, Jason and Keith. Our dear OGLs are Sieu Ping and Hong Yi! Hahaha, I have to say, we're a really peaceful group. But we get along fine just the way it is! :) We only started getting noisy on the second last day, and it was a nice surprise for our OGLs I guess. We love to gossip about Jun Jie's 'girlfriends'! And I'm known to my OG as the super blur girl hahaha. I can't help it! XD
Omg I had a lot of silly moments in this camp. There's this concentration game I played with my OG, and I kept losing 'cos my reaction was too slow. In this game, we have to choose an animal and add an action to it. Mine's the rabbit! :D So that day after lunch at Kallang Riverside Park we were playing it and I lost 3 times, so I had to do a forfeit, which was to run around 3 coconut trees! Gee that was embarrassing haha. XD Fourth day morning I was super sleepy because I only had 3 hours of sleep the previous night, and I was in drowsy state. The first funny thing I remembered doing that day was calling Jun Jie 'Zhi Jie'. I have no idea why I called him that! But my mind was working slower than usual that day.
Third day night we had nightwalk! Cluedo, actually. We were supposed to find the murderer of Joy. I was in the same group as Yijie, and was reminded of our std one times when we paired up to go for our nightwalk. I was totally freaked out by the people with ghostly makeup! There was this station at the science lab where we could only enter the room in pairs, and I went in with Yijie and there were 3 scary looking people inside. One was waiting prominently at the entrance at the room for us, one jumped out beside her from behind the corner of the wall and scared us, and the other one jumped out of the cupboard when we opened it, in the search for our chicken head. We were supposed to look for a chicken thigh and chicken head, and it could be anywhere in the room. Omg I'm super glad I didn't wear my specs for that station! When we were halfway searching for the items one of the ghostly SMs threw a fake girl's head a.k.a 'roast chicken' at us! Yeah, I mistook the paper-made girl's head as for roast chicken 'cos of my poor eyesight! I only found out later when I was discussing about the station with Yijie, and I freaked out when I realised it was a 'girl's head' which was thrown at us instead of a roast chicken. I would've been really really freaked out if I saw the thing as a girl's head when I was doing the task!
I liked the puzzle game though. We had to walk through 3 connecting classrooms blindfolded in the dark and find a puzzle piece, overcome the obstacles and get out of the room. I was pretty much disturbed by people who were ticking me with the broom and blowing into my ear, but it's a very fun experience! :D And I knew I was safe since my OGL would guide me if I really walked out-of-direction.
Fourth day night I was asked to get our OG's candle lighted from Mabel's during the SH initiation, and I had to run back and forth three times for the candle to remain lighted all the way to my OG! I think I have no affinity with candles haha. There wasn't even any wind! And I didn't know that I can't hold a candle straight up when it's lighted, 'cos the wax would drip on me. Well... I've never really lighted a candle or held a lighted candle myself before! XD Oh and when I had to light my own tealight I had trouble doing that too. I was very careful with it for fear that the wax would drip on me, but when I was about to walk to the spot where I was supposed to place the tealight the candle flame extinguished on its own again. And the hot wax dripped on me. I was caught by surprise and dropped my tealight, and left a puddle of wax on the floor, whoops. Xingqi was passing by and he helped me scrape the puddle while I concentrated on getting my tealight lighted and having it placed on where it's supposed to be. Sorry for the trouble, and thank you! :)
I love the Algorithm dance! :D It's super cute hehe. It consists of 8 steps: bend down and stretch your hands out front, bend backwards, turn behind and bow to the person behind you, look to your right, bend and swim, pick up litter, pump energy, and PEW PEW! It's a really fun mass dance. I shall change my blog song to the Algorithm dance song sometime.

Yay BENNU won 1st RUNNER UP for orientation! :D I love my house. The colour's pretty, and the people in there are nice!
BENNU BENNU BENNU BENNU aiyayaya~I have to pick up my china buddy at the airport soon. 7.30pm. Looking forward to seeing her; I hope she's nice! I left for Singapore early during BSP trip to take my jap Os, so I didn't get to see her/ stay at her house. Sigh I didn't manage to get any sleep today afternoon! I'm feeling sleepy all over again! XD
