O LEVELS ARE OVER! :D
Oh well, I only took one examination.
Hey, the paper was fairly easy. I attempted qn 1 and 3. Yes, narrative. Hee, that was quite a good question to write! It's about how money cannot buy everything. On the other hand, the bao zhang bao dao qn looks really weird, I didn't really look at it for long before I made a decision. :)
For paper 2, there was a lot of copying, and there were a couple of phrases I'm not sure of the meaning. I really hope I get at least an A! I hope this is the last time I touch a Chinese compre paper. I don't like comprehension, but I don't mind writing Chinese essays. I really hope CLL, or CLEP is going to turn out fine next year! :D
Liz thought the paper was easy too! Hmmm. Here's the funny bit:
We were just leaving school, walking in the very slight drizzle at that point of time.
I asked her about paper 1.
She described what she wrote for paper 1, and then asked me what was KILLER LITTER, because she forgot what it was.
Me: "Wasn't the gong han about PEOPLE PLACING TOO MANY ITEMS outside their houses? "
Liz stared at me for 5 whole seconds, and started screaming!
Oh well! She forgot what was killer litter, so she didn't add the term in at all; just that she did all her effects and suggestions based on killer litter, so I guess it should be fine, because the vague idea of having interpreted the question correctly was there. Just that one of her suggestions sounded a bit harsh to me, like imposing fines. Surely you don't usually get fined by placing items outside your houses huh...? But it's okay! I'm sure she'll do great for this exam! :)
Went out to celebrate Liz's birthday today. Yes, it's only me and her. -.- Just like how it was for my birthday celebration too. Everyone had to go home or something! Oh well, we're fine with each other's company hee. We went out for lunch, which was really just bread from the bakery, because we kind of wanted to save money. After that we went window shopping down Orchard for a bit, and I had to leave for my interview at Dhoby Ghaut, Create Talent. Liz kindly followed me.
The interview was soooo not an interview for a job! The newspaper description's really vague! Well, we reached there early, and I had to fill in a form. We waited for 1+ hour before it was my turn. So I went into the room, and the lady and I started chatting. She started showing me pictures of other people's portfolios and advertisements they were starred in. Oh, they do a lot of ads! Like M1, Starhub and even Pizza Hut. Even those people who formed the crowd in the previous M1 ad was handpicked by the director or something! So she pointed out the people to me and matched them with pictures from their portfolio. Actually the whole wall of the room was filled with pictures of people and advertisements. I was wondering how come she isn't asking me any questions about what I interviewed for, which was for some bridal portfolio as stated in the newspapers, and then she started talking about me making a portfolio! Yes, and the package she introduced me costs a freaking $570.00. Well.... with the money I get a makeover, with hairstyling and everything, and they would pick out clothes from their collection which suit me and the photographer would teach me to do poses and let me take 40 photos, from the 4 themes, casual, formal, something else and bridal. So much for getting a part time job! :/ Well... I was quite interested at the package, but I went home and my dad almost killed me. I guess I shall do all these when I'm older and more matured ba. :)
After that Liz made me go to RafflesCity with her because I made her made wayyy too long, and so we travelled down to City Hall, where she spotted a nice tube dress in Topshop which she had caught her eyes on earlier and is on sale now and so decided to buy it. Oh yes, before that she'd realised she'd left her plastic bag which contained her dictionary and birthday gifts at Dhoby Ghaut. O.O Well, she was not a bit worried, and continued shopping; but I guess no one would take the bag from the store, since there's nothing valuable in there. I couldn't accompany her 'cos it was quite late and I had to head home. Sorry Liz!
Okay. I shall start hunting for a real part-time job. And earn some good money to save up for my portfolio. :D
Dance practice tomorrow! I shall go sleep now. Good night! :)
