Aerins desserts 9:38 PM

I was pulled by Lizard to go eat at Aerins @ RafflesCity today. The food's really good though! :D Shared a couple of their signature desserts.

This is carrot cake. :)

Apple pie! Now this is really satisfying; 'cos the crust is nice on its own already, and the hot apples inside taste really good too! Plus the giant topping of vanilla icecream on top. :D

Later we went to window shop for awhile and I fell in love with a pair of skinnies from River Island while Lizard set her eyes on some expensive top again. -.-

Heh. My brother baked chocolate chip muffins in his home econs lesson today and he gave me one! It tastes not bad; but he didn't eat it himself. -.- Actually so far he hasn't tried anything he prepared himself. Picky eater!

Yesterday:
Heh. I was going home with Deborah and Christine yesterday, and Christine and I were suddenly craving for icecream after school on the walk out of the front gate, and we specially made our way to the back gate to find the icecream uncle to buy iceream! I haven't eaten this type of icecream for a very long time!

Ooh, raspberry ripple flavour, with bread! This is the first time I ate icecream with bread haha.

Outing at VivoCity 9:00 PM

Went to watch Red Cliff today, at VivoCity with my mum, brother and buddy. Hmmm. I was quite disgusted by all the bloodshed and heads and bodies flying! But there were still heartwarming parts, such as the horse giving birth and the little boy playing the flute. Oh, Zhuge Liang (Takeshi Kaneshiro) was super cool! :D I liked Lin Chih-Ling too. Super pretty! The Bagua formation for war was good too. But I don't think I would be too interested to watch the Battle of the Red Cliff in Part II!

After that we went back to White Sands and took some neoprints. :D Omg stupid machine didn't let us choose the size of photographs and we got one whole sheet of minature ones! Tried my very best to enlarge it with my phone camera.

Oh no. This weekend seems like all play and no work! :/

Saturday 10:34 PM

Brought my buddy out today with my family. First we went for breakfast at about 10.30am at Elias Mall, and we treated her Singaporean breakfast food like roti prata, fried beehoon and chwee kway. After that we had a tour round the wet market and the mall. Then we went home, I did some homework and then we left for lunch at Downtown East at Fresh Bulgoggi for Korean food. Heh she wasn't too used to it I guess; but she didn't find it bad too! She ate bibimbap with me. :D Later we headed off to Chinatown.

Ooh, here's the juicy bit. On the way to Chinatown in the train, I fell asleep (as usual) and I was woken up in surprise by a super duper cute "molester"! Well, he was stroking my thigh. -.- Gee, he's cute. Then after that he stretched out his hands, so I went to shake it. I took out my handphone with my bunny hp pouch and he seemed to like the bunny a lot! So I let him fiddle about with my hp pouch, then he continued stretching his hand out to touch me and make funny faces. Heh he had me tickled pink! I heard his grandma call him Kai Kai. :D

Heh, I went Chinatown with my buddy and I ended up spending money! Haha, it was quite difficult for something to catch her eye, while so many things caught my eye there (but I couldn't spend no more money 'cos I'd spent too much in Korea). But in the end, we got her some keychains for souvenirs while I got myself this interesting costume for Racial Harmony day. Heehee. Oh, we brought her to this famous Holland Village XO Fish head beehoon restaurant too!

Ooh what a most fufilling day with lots of good food and sight-seeing! Haha I should be resting now, bringing her to watch Red Cliff at VivoCity tomorrow. The show starts at 12.15pm! Alright, good night! :D

Ikea Meatballs 10:34 PM

Friday!

I had today to myself since my buddy wasn't back till 10pm (when I had to pick her up at the school hostel), so I went out with Lizard, Denise and Natalie to Ikea (the one near Queenstown MRT) for lunch.

Ooh, the meatballs are good! I shared a plate of 15 with Lizard, and it was evenly split up as Nat wanted to steal one. :D

There were potatos, pork-and-beef meatballs with some really tasty gravy and cranberry sauce at the side too. Heh, I thought that was chilli until Lizard told me.

Oh, and after that I had to leave early to get my buddy a present, while the rest stayed to do some work. I was planning to get something from TM, but after I left I visited the toys section at Ikea and found something suitable for my buddy. But later I made a couple of rounds on 2nd floor 'cos I couldn't find the way down, only to realise that the exit was just next to the restaurant after I asked somebody. -.-

Well... I got down to the first floor, and I got attracted to the household items! So I went shopping for some interesting and super cheap items for my house, and bought a vase and a jug. Heh. So in the end I didn't go TM after all; and spent much of my time shopping in Ikea. :) But I'd already bought the present for my buddy already! Bought the rest of the materials at White Sands. :)

Took a taxi home after finding my buddy at the hostel. Yup that's all. Good night!

Buddy Hosting Night 2 10:37 PM

Ooh! It's the second night I'm hosting my buddy now. So far so good! :)

Yunting's quite softspoken, but very nice and polite! She washes her own clothes! Heh that's quite surprising, 'cos I don't think I would do it leh. >.< Hmmm. They enjoyed our lessons! Perhaps it's because we have a relief Bio teacher (sir chee hoe) who let us do what we wanted haha. They also attended one period of Physics lesson by Mr Koh too. Yunting told me lessons are very strict over at her school and they aren't allowed to talk during lessons!

Alright, I shall have an earlier night too. Looking forward to the weekends, when I can bring her out. Good bye! :D

China buddy coming, last minute! 9:07 PM

MY TROPHY IS BROKEN! :(

I think the whole world knows it now. Well, at least the people I saw today. I complained to almost everyone I could complain to haha. I'm heartbroken that my Nat Comp trophy is broken! My father dropped it by accident, and it shattered. Well, I don't blame him at all 'cos he was helping me to carry my stuff, but I'm quite still upset that it's broken. Oh well, the process is much much more important.

I was thinking I wouldn't forget to bring anything this time, but I did, again! :/ I forgot to bring my NOTES. I found out when me and Daphne were on the first train at Pasir Ris and I tried calling home, but no one replied. Heh thought they must be scared to answer, in case I would make them go over to Bishan to send me my notes! My poor mum did it for me a couple of times before, but I'm super grateful to her for that of course. Forgetful me! Actually they just slept so soundly they never heard the phone ring again and again. I had the notes kept in between my First Aid Manual on the sofa, preparing to bring them to school the next day. Then when I was about to keep the First Aid Manual in my bag on Comp morning, I thought, "Hmmm I won't get to study anyway, and it's quite heavy! Maybe I shouldn't bring it with me. " And so I left my First Aid Manual on the sofa and left, with my notes still safely kept inside my manual. OMG thank goodness Kian Kok managed to bring the notes for me, by meeting up with my brother at Pasir Ris, with a bit of Yi'an's help haha. My family even packed the Home Nursing Manual for me! Gee my forgetful deeds. But I always have nice people to help me! :)

OMG we won 3rd, Best First Aid and Best CPR! :D And AA did the same too! :) I remember in the waiting room yesterday, I was saying "I want us to win hand-in-hand with AA" and they got the exact same prizes as us! Now that's super cool. Yay and after that the whole team changed into our NA tees! Haha that was a super random idea of mine on Saturday, and the rest of them actually obliged! :D We almost couldn't get the tees on time though, 'cos it was last minute. We begged the lady sooo hard and kept the design as simple as possible and she finally agreed! Oh, and she gave us free names (at the back of the tee) too.

Someone: Huh don't need la, more expensive leh.
Me: Ehh I pay the extra costs for you guys la, take it as a present from me, like I'd promised just now.
Someone: Nevermind nevermind, we just don't take the names la.
Me: (A bit sad)
Lady: How about I give you the names for free?
Me: OMG thank you! (to team) So we add the names on ah?
Someone: Oh, okay!
Lady: She give you all names you all don't want, I give you all names then want! :)
All: (Laughs happily)

I shall recommend everyone to go Art Serve at Tampines Mall, 'cos the lady's super nice! :D But haha do buy in bulk though; 'cos we paid quite a lot when we bought in a small quantity and last minute. But I'm super glad that all of us have NA tees with our personalised names! :) Heh, I never regretted joining this team; and I'm super glad that all of us have become so close within these 6 months, fighting for a common goal.

Back to the present. Gee I was super sleepy today! Slept in the bus, went up to classroom with my eyes barely open and slept on the table all the way till flag-raising. First lesson was Chinese test; well it wasn't that bad, but I couldn't concentrate slightly. I slept at 12.30am the previous previous night, and had to wake up at 4am to prepare for Nat Comp! After that the lessons were okay, I guess.

BSP gave me a shock. I found out today morning that I am supposed to host a China buddy THIS WEDNESDAY; 2 DAYS LATER. Oh great! Thank goodness my parents are still pretty accepting on this last minute notice which the school gave. I desperately need to spring clean! Sigh. And I only have less than half a day to do so when I come back from school tomorrow! But I still look forward to having a nice buddy though. I'd already planned some stuff that I could do for her when she comes by, like bringing her to my CCA CIP on Saturday! Well... I can't leave her (or him, oops) with my family and not take care of her! Ahh well.

Alrighty, need to go study for Maths test tomorrow. Good night! :D

Pre-Comp Feelings 9:50 PM

NATIONAL COMP IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS! :D

Highness. Had our one last training with loads of fun and went shopping for presents. My, all of us spent a lot of money! Omg and we almost did something wrong unconsciously when we were at Marina Square minitoons. Thank goodness I discovered it in time and we quickly headed back to the store! Or else we wouldn't be present for comp tmr already haha.

Heh. The MRT trip was one most interesting one. All of us were laughing sooo much! Yi'an kept hitting this random guy with her large actions, and made that couple laugh too. I made all of them laugh with my random emotion (omg it made ms sleepy Xun Lin laugh till she cried!). Haha those who want to see my emotion may request to me and I'll show it to you! :D Heh, I shall show it to a depressed patient if available for home nursing tomorrow. It's so much more effective to use this method to wake Xun Lin up, instead of calling for "fire!" (me) and simin attempting to step on her shoe (it made her all grumpy)! We never had so much fun together in the train before, probably because we hardly go home as a full team together much. Hehe it's kind of fun making my team laugh so hard because of me, when I was just doing it randomly! :)

Ooh, I so so want to blog about our time at Tampines Mall! Yeah, we had to go two places to get our presents. Saw something so sweet incidentally! But that would mean revealing the surprises and I'm not so dumb to do it this time! :) I shall blog the next time I have the chance to update.

It's 10.30pm now. Gee I have to wait up at like 4.30am tomorrow, so that I can meet Daphne at Pasir Ris MRT at 5.30am and we meet Yi'an at Lavender at 6.15am. Long long day tomorrow! I wish I don't have to go to school on Monday, sigh. Well, tomorrow's finally the day to showcase what we've been working so hard for. Yi'an, Elaine, Simin, Xunlin, Daphne. NA'08 all the way! :D

Happy Youth Day! 9:53 PM

Happy Post-Youth Day! :D

Went out with Lizard to study Maths. Was planning to meet her at about 8.40am at Simei MRT, and ended up waiting for her for half an hour at the MRT platform! Next time I shall just attempt to reach late sigh.

Well, after having our morning tea at Spinelli and finishing my Maths homework, we went to watch Get Smart! Well, she made me go Zohan at first, but Cineleisure was really strict and we got busted when purchasing tickets and we had to show our student passes. Oh well, I'm not so keen in watching Zohan anyway, especially after I found out from my brother (13 years old) that Zohan was really disgusting and it wouldn't be suitable for somebody who likes sweet romantic movies like me to watch! Yes, he's 13 and he managed to watch Zohan OPENLY. Well, he watched at a GV cinema. Anyway, Get Smart was a really funny movie! I think Anne Hathaway's really pretty.

Heh, after that we went shopping for a bit, then back to our Old Place at Shokudo for tea! Camwhored quite alot using my new camera phone. :)

It feels so good to go out with a good friend on youth day, when I bet lots of people are actually mugging 'cos this week's a really busy week! At least, for me. Chem test, LA Hamlet test, Physics pop quiz, lots of homework and NATIONAL COMP! Omg it's coming. At least I've finished my homework! :D Haven't gone out with her for a superr long time already, due to my busy schedule.

CIP 4:49 PM

CIP was quite fun! :)

Heh. Signed up for the NDP'08 Youth Speak Up Dunk It event. Today we met up at school to do billboards. Omg the group of us, me, Christine, Xun Lin, Pui Mun and their classmates were 1 hour late! We kind of received the wrong information. Oh well, but we only missed the briefing haha. I think our poster's quite nice! :D And I like the mascot too. The robot-like bearbear.

After that, we went home and me and Christine dropped by Tampines for lunch. The Hokkaido fair was quite crowded! Haha. I got a pack of those nice potato cookies and a box of corn caramel. I'd have loved to queue up for the redbean manju/ ice-cream, but it was superr crowded! The manju queue went round the loop to the escalator! Haha but I've tasted it before, it's really quite good.

Then I took Bus 81 home from Tampines interchange. Gee, at the bus stop, a bunch of guys kind of attempted to get my number while I was minding my own business. Omg I was kind of freaked out la! It's not like I was eavesdropping, but I think they were speaking loudly intentionally. Then one of them shouted, "小姐!" quite loudly and I turned around due to natural reaction. Then the whole group started laughing so I quickly turned back, feeling quite embarrassed. After that one of them said something like, "See? She replied leh. I help you go ask for her number?" Then another argued saying "It's you who want her number la!". Then after that they were making plans, speaking quite loudly, what to do on the bus. I was kind of worried that they would surround me in the bus or something.

Okay, then the bus came. One of them sat in front of me; the rest of the guys went to another side. He kept turning around! :/ So I continued doing my own stuff and started looking down at my chemistry notes and smsing people. Haha I was praying somebody would sit next to me soon so he wouldn't attempt and someone really did! A couple came; the lady sat next to the guy while her husband sat next to me. So he couldn't do anything. But the couple left soon, so everything was back to square one. Haha but later they had to alight, so when he stood up he muttered something like, "Byebye. I think you look cute." when I wasn't even looking up at him! Oh, and when the whole bunch of guys alighted that guy knocked on my window and waved. Being polite, I smiled meekly and waved back. That was the only time I "communicated" with him heh. So they kind of failed badly, but I would be wise enough not to give my number to random strangers even if that guy really asked me.

I think I don't dare to take Bus 81 from that ulu interchange alone anymore.

Lol. End of story! I shall start on my work soon. Byebye! :)
