I'm baack! :)
KOREA was really fun! I think it'd be one of my nicest trips haha. I liked everything there; the weather, the prices, the scenery, the people, everything! The tour guide, Jackee and the photographer, Max were super caring! We just bought the whole stack of photos from him, which costed about $200; one way to help him and another to thank him for all that he'd done for us, providing us with great service! But the photos were really pretty!
Oh, and updates regarding previous post. There WAS somebody of my age! Hahaha, besides all the kids; we just never realised till the last few days of the trip. Yup, Jonathan. :D Heh heh, his mum looked so young many of us thought they were a couple! But still, the combi still looked pretty weird to me 'cos after all he looked younger than his mum. -.- Well, at least there was someone to go on the rollercoaster trip with me in Lotte World! It was really good; loved the rainbow tunnel!
The food was much much better than the first day, and I kind of enjoyed Korean food after that. There was the cotbap, a flowery bibimbap which meant eating flowers and raw greens with rice. I enjoyed that meal! It's like, really unique, delicious and healthy! But lots of people actually dreaded touching those flowers, and ended up eating the back-up buffet, which was pretty sad.
Omg my family spent alot of money! But I think it's all very worth it hahaha. We bought some really expensive ginseng products, nice honeydews which some of them got rotten after being stuck in the cargo for so long and lots of FOOD! Gee, I bought some facial products from the Face Shop that were quite expensive too, but it's very useful. Oh, and of course there's souvenirs for friends and relatives too! Yeah, and we were lugging cardboard boxes home and had to take a limousine cab home. One of the cardboard boxes contained seafood instant noodles which the tour guide highly recommended us to buy, heh.
I think the most memorable day (or night) would be touring through the night market in Seoul with Jonathan and his mum. The previous day we went with Auntie Margaret and her husband too; but then it was raining and alot of shops weren't open. The nightlife in Korea is super pretty! We walked all the way down rows and rows of stalls selling all sorts of things, such as clothes, food, beverages and even PUPPIES! The parents loved buying socks over here; it's like 10 pairs of socks for 5000won (about SGD5). I remember we tried this Korean style xiaolongbao-like thing and banana milk! Well, Jackee was recommending some banana milk which was really good but we never found out the brand though. Anyway, the place looked so lively at night! Something we would never see in Singapore; everythings ends so early over here and only adults could stay out in those pubs and night clubs in the wee nights. Gee, we shopped till over 12am for the two nights where we toured the night market!
I shall upload photos soon, but perhaps not all of them 'cos I have like 500+ photos! Byebye! :D
Missing Korea already!
