Camp! 11:03 PM

ALC/ St John 40th Anniversary/ POP camp tomorrow! 30th May - 1st June. Gee, time passes really fast. Oh well, I'm just here to update. Omg I'm sooo tired! I've been away from home everyday till late this week, rushing some POP stuff. Oh well, it's the last camp in St John already. I shall make the best of my memories. :D

I shall go sleep now. Tomorrow's another long day. *YAWN* Good night!

Usher duties 11:12 PM

What a LONG day today!

Reached home late yesterday night after going for the Fast and Fresh Festival yesterday at The Arts House. Watched many wonderful performances which got into the finals, 3 of which came from our school. OMG my dear junior Tabitha wrote one of the scripts and it actually reached the finals! Now that's really cool. :D We got the free tickets from our drama elective. Gee, I'm missing it already! We had so much fun. Oh well, we shall perform out Romeo and Juliet play for Teacher's Day! Oh, and there's the squad performance too, heh. Xun Lin and I will be quite busy! Both of us signed up for LAMBDA examinations. Actress career! Haha. We plan to do duologue, but that really depends on the time factor I guess. No harm writing our e-mail addresses down for Ms Kate anyway! We did the bus stop again. This time we had specific roles! Mainly the Bully, the Flirt, Couch Potato, the Introvert, the One who Thinks He is Never Good Enough, the Hot Shot, and the Joker. I was acting as the Hot Shot! :D And I had fun doing that. I think I should be the friendliest "Hot Shot" between the 3 groups. Heh, guess there are different ways to interpret this character!

OOH, back to today. It was a real tiring day! Woke up early in the morning and reached school at 8.20am for Open House usher. Omg Lizard overslept really badly and skipped the whole usher duty! But she had to come to school still as she had unfinished homework and files which she had to pass up. Hehe. Being an usher was FUN! I took both Chinese-speaking and English-speakingg families, and realised that I could converse pretty well in Chinese after all! Especially with those complicated academic terms which I had to translate quickly in my mind, it gives me such a sense of satisfaction! :D There was one funny bit, one of the groups of people I took, which Christine joined earlier on:

We were at the Bicultural Studies Programme booth. The group stood there for a super long time, in front of Eustance and Shi En.

I'm glad I made people's day! :) Heh, those parents seem pretty amused by me, somehow.

Oh and after I was off-duty at 12pm, there was so much buffer time before Parade Rehearsal! Now that was BORING. Yeah well, I ate lunch with my mates, returned school at about 1.30pm, and waited all the way till 3pm + before we started rehearsal. I was already very tired from last night and today morning! So I was slightly restless in parade, oops. But we do need practice though; our drills were pretty rusty. Oh well, there's another parade rehearsal on Monday again! :/

Heh. That's all! SIGH! Tmr's another early morning, to the church. Goodbye! :D

Theatre Arts Elective! 9:10 PM

THEATRE ARTS ELECTIVE is sooooo fun! :D Gee, I feel drama now. We just played lots of interactive games and learnt some theatre technics. We also had lots of inpromptu acting, which was really interesting. OOH, I got myself a taitai role! The teacher gave me the character and her ring, hee. Okay, maybe almost a taitai, before my wedding car crashed and there was no wedding with my rich fiancee anymore!

Oh, and there was dance practice with the squad after school. ~~Yippee! I learnt the combined dance today, with lots of songs all mixed up together. "Low" was fun!~~ OOPS. Only about a week left for POP! Wow, time passes really really fast.

And there was SMC dinner cum meeting later on at Singapore Post. Candice sent us some photos! Heh, and we were fighting for whose bluetooth gets connected on Candice's laptop first. Lol, Kian Kok! Ooh, and I found out lots of scandalous factual gossip from my squadmates heh. Not that I know the people (maybe I know them but they don't know me), but it's fun to know so much! Haha. :)

I love Std1 Squad'08! :D Long day today; looking forward to more acting tmr! I shall just do Arts for Year 5 and get myself a Theatre Arts B.A. in the future. I think I'll live happier this way! Byebye!

Movie! 9:29 PM

I watched What happens in Vegas today! :D Ooh, I love the re-marriage proposal on the beach! Jack says "Will you marry me... again?" and Joy said "I do."! SIGH, I couldn't cry/ swoon 'cos I was watching it with my BROTHER! Haha, what a bad companion, considering that I'm a hopeless romantic while my brother is the total opposite. Well... he liked the show though, this is the second time he's watching it today! My dad gave us a pair of free tickets, and there weren't much nice shows around... Gee, he told me he and his friends laughed at the ending! -.- See the difference?

Ooh, and Cathay DT East's not bad! I took a picture when I was inside, heh.

I wanna watch Mama Mia when it comes out! :D Ooh, the trailer looks really cool!

Level Camp! 5:05 PM

Came back from Level Camp! :D
Wow, it was actually quite fun, and not as bad as I thought!

Heh, the first thing I did when I got home was to unpack my stuff and relieve my bag of the stench of the wet clothes, followed by a good bath and a nice aloe vera mask for my poor face! Gee, I was sick throughout the camp, but I pulled through pretty easily! :) Haha, I don't look or sound sick when I'm sick though!

My class had AHMAD and SHEEMUN as our instructors! My group had AHMAD. Gee, he's become famous with he and his bumble bee song!

1st day. Trip to Pelapah Waterfalls. Hmmm. That was pretty boring; we didn't get to see a decent waterfall! We climbed so hard... :/ Confidence Walk! Now that was quite a good experience. We had to walk through a stretch of road in the dark, full of nature. Well, I got through it by focusing my mind on something and having the reassurance that instructors would be around for me, and dreaming of my line of fireflies. Oh well, oh course it didn't come true! But dreaming helps. :)

2nd day. Kayaking at Johor River! We were using 3-man kayaks. I was kayaking with Jie Qi and Christine. Now, that was quite a chore 'cos we had to coordinate our hand movements and paddle at the same time. FIREFLIES cruise! Gee, the fireflies were really really pretty. It was the first time I actually got to see fireflies. Sparkle sparkle in the beautiful dark peaceful night. It was such a picturesque sight, cruising down the calm river! We even got to see bird nests under bridges. Heh, that was pretty romantic! Hahahaha.

Heh. 3rd day. Expedition to Gunung Panti Barat. It was a pretty tiring climb; we had 3 stations. We stopped at the 1st station for a field-cooked lunch! Heh, there was maggi noodles, sausages and baked beans, not forgetting the GREEN oranges! Yilin, Mayping, Xiangyu and a couple of other people and I had fun playing the game of "dispersing seeds" by comparing whose seed was brought the farthest by spitting! :D But later Ms Tan came and she beat all of us with her first and only try with one orange seed! Ooh, and later the 3rd station was so steep and slippery! I didn't get bitten by a leech! Although we saw lots of them there. I remember Eugene once told me "Leeches don't bite friendly people." and it came true! :D We had a simple night.

4th day. Project teamtanic was fun! :D I was in a group with Liz, Zhi Kai and Xiangyu while the other group had Deborah, Zina, Joe and Wei Xun. Although our boat capsized and we ended up towing the barrels and paddles to the other side of the river by swimming. But still it was a pretty cool experience! Mass games and CAMPFIRE! :D "She's been dreaming of a true love's kiss, and a prince she's hoping comes with this..." "Wimoweh wimoweh wimoweh wimoweh..." "Falalalala lalalala!" It was a really heartwarming campfire, so it brought me to tears, 'cos it was pretty emotional towards the end of the campfire. Apparently Bobby's debrief after that made it worse.

To think all of us were so freaked out by Level Camp before, and in the end not bearing to end the camp. Well, for my case it is. There were many many wonderful experiences which I would remember for a long long time... Including the funny times with dear AHMAD and BOBBY! :D

I love 4FALALA. I love Group 5. I love Draka. I love the instuctors. I love Year 4 Level Camp'08! :D

SICK! 10:34 PM

SICK! :(

Sigh, flu spreads so fast in LTs. I was alright yesterday morning, Shirlene was down with a bad throat sitting next to me, and a few others who were sneezing too, and later in the afternoon I was caught with a super duper bad running nose, and a bad throat! Gee, and I had Japanese exam. It was quite difficult! Oh well. Nice daddy got me a honey lemon drink and some other bitter drink for my sore throat. :D

I lugged my uniform down to school today, quite determined to go training, 'cos it was the second last training with my dear std1s! But in class my flu got so bad, I was blowing my nose practically every 5 minutes. I used up 3 packets of tissues! Yeah, so I had to miss training, 'cos I felt really uncomfortable. I hope everyone had fun today~

Ooh, so I went home and kept blowing my nose. It's like, every 2 minutes (now, that's even worse than school) I have to get to the tissue box to pull out a piece of tissue! In the end I gave up and decided to place the tissue box next to me instead.

It's level camp on Monday already! I hope I'll get well soon! I certainly DO NOT want to report to school to do homework everyday. :/ I shall go rest! Byebye!

Happy B'day Daddy 10:40 PM

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY! :D

Gee, yesterday was a tiring day! Went for training, got myself sunburnt again (ooh the sun was really hot!) and rushed for EDS concert, later to meet my family to book a tour for the holidays. We're going to KOREA! :D From 14- 22 June. Yay, finally a June holiday with lesser commitments! No camps or anything.

ARGH. I lost my dear necklace! It was the only one available in Watts In. And I'm super duper sad! :( I really really liked it alot. People who go out with me quite a lot would know that it's the heart necklace with a 'E' in the middle. Sigh, I think there won't be much hope of recovering it anymore. If only I can find it again I'll take care of it properly! Popped it into my bag before I hurriedly left home for training yesterday, to wear it for EDS afternoon when I change. And, it's just gone! Gone for good. Sigh! :(

Studied quite alot today. And online-shopped quite alot too, actually. Heh. Level Camp's coming soon!
