SUNKIST ORANGE 10:30 PM

Heh. Just came back from SMC1 Meeting! Gee, I was so sticky and stinky when I came home! But now I'd just bathed so I feel much better now. :)

Sports Day was so HOT. But thank goodness I didn't get sunburnt, 'cos I applied an awful lot of sunblock on my face! Then I started sweating and people kept telling me that they could see white spots of sweat on my face. And that I looked like a snake! Somehow, yeah. LOL!

I was super high! Heh, congrats and goodjob to Dunman High! We rock man! :D

Oh, and after that, me, liz and nat set off for Orchard, where we pampered ourselves with a good lunch at Bakerzin. And my fave rose macaroon! Heh.

THE STORY OF THE SUNKIST ORANGE!

Me, Lizard and Nat were walking down the streets of Orchard Road after Sports Day.

Random promoter: Hi, we're not doing survey or anything, we're from Sunkist Orange. Have you ever heard of the "Sunkist Smiles" thing? ... ... So, would you like to take photos for us? We're trying to meet a quota...

ME: OKAY! :D (And bursts out laughing)

Liz and Nat: O.O , shoots me with a why-did-you-say-yes?! look

Promoter: Oh, so who would like to take first?

Liz and Nat: *looks at me* You go first la.

Haha, so I went to take the photos with that giant smiley orange at the Sunkist Orange booth! Yeah, they gave me a slice of Sunkist orange to pose with! So I put it up at my mouth to make a smiley orange smile for the first shot, and for the next few shots I just did "1", "2", "3", "4", "5". It was pretty easy, I just presented my smiley smile and posed with that jolly round Sunkist orange! :D

So did the rest of them later. Heh, at least they were sporting enough to take with me! :)

Yay, then we did a last group photo together!

After we were all done and left the booth with our free orange juice and sunkist notepads. (Ha, that was a nice surprise, we didn't know we would get anything!), Nat then told me that she was about to say "Sorry, but no.", but I agreed immediately before they could say anything! :D OOH, so I made them do something that they'd have never ever done! Heh. Apparently I agreed straight away without much thought!

But isn't it fun? I mean, we hardly get stopped on the streets to do such stuff! And taking photos is nice! :D

Heh, the person made me fill up a form. I wonder if they'll send those photos to my e-mail? I hope so!

TEA 9:46 PM

Heh. Me and Lizard went Bakerzin Paragon for deserts & macaroons today! We passed by bakery depot on the way, but hot cross buns weren't available! Yeah, so I still didn't manage to satisfy my crave. :(

We shared these deserts together! We could choose a set of 5 miniature forms of Bakerzin's deserts at a good price. We chose raspberry panna cotta, forest fruits icecream, vanilla creme brulee, caramel panna cotta and coupe cheesecake. And they happened to have very distinct (and extreme) flavours! Like raspberry panna cotta was pretty sour, caramel panna cotta had this coffee layer at the top and tasted very bitter! And vanilla creme brulee was a tad too sweet! We thought coupe cheesecake was the nicest, while forest fruits icecream was not bad too, but slightly sour. So we were popping different flavours into our mouths with each spoonful, and actually it was pretty fun! :) Oh and the macaroons. There were so limited flavours that we decided not to get any.

Heh. So where did these come from? Hahaha, we were just walking in Wisma Atria for awhile after that, and we spotted another Bakerzin! And lucky enough, there were lots of nice flavours there! So we managed to get some macaroons after all. :D There's a chocolatey-sort of flavour one, a rose and lychee one, blueberry, hazelnut, a plain rose one, and a pistachio one.

My favourite Rose flavour macaroon! Heh. I like it because it's pink and it made me taste the flavour of LOVE. :D I'm serious! When I tried it I started swooning in the air of romance.

Food! 9:22 PM

Hmmm. Today was a pretty simple day! Heh. I'm treated to lots of nice sweets today! Yeah, actually all of them are related to chocolate. When I was really trying to be more healthy this week!

Heh. I realised that some people have never seen sweetcorn pau before! I bought one at MOELC and decided to take photos of it. :D

It's a long-ish sort of shape! Yeah, unlike those cute round paus.

Heh. The nice yellow sweetcorn paste in the pau. :D

OOH! Nat bought me an Easter egg in babypink. That's very sweet of her! There're 2 chocolates in the egg.

Rachel gave me a nice jap chocolate cream cookie! Haha, I'm so fascinated by it because it's JAP. :) Lizard gave me a cookie too! But it's a normal type. Liu laoshi gave us M&Ms!

Alright, guess that's about all for today! Heh. I'm craving HOTCROSS BUNS while Lizard's craving for MACAROONS! We shall go get some tomorrow! [What a failure attempt in having a healthy week! :/]

Happy Good Friday 9:47 PM

HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY EVERYONE!

Gee, I hope it's a happier day today for my 4FALALA mates today.. Everyone in 4FALALA was all emotional over Math test. Yeah, it's pretty scary to see everyone so troubled by math. Yeah, to the extent of crying, it's very scary, even the pro people in my class are failing. Apparently XY aced everything with a breeze! Lol.

I have bad results too; but somehow I'm not too troubled by it I guess. It's not me to get troubled by results, seriously. 2 tests added up together and my combined grade is like 6/50! Oh great, things really don't look very good! :( But I DO work hard. I DO DO DO. Thank goodness my parents were understanding about it; they do see me study! Oh well, guess I'm really not a Math sort of person.

Tsk tsk. My mother was too lazy to go church today, so all of us didn't go! :/ Heard from Christine that the performance was pretty nice. Ahh well, but (Pastor) Pacer didn't sing! Lol, I wanted to go because I thought he would sing. I feel bad for missing Good Friday Celebration! We will go on Sunday!

Hohoho. I got my new retainers today! Yes, I broke my transparent ones. This new pair costed my dear mum a whole $250! O.O I'd better take really good care of it! But this time I got the metal ones so it'll be more lasting, I hope! Dentist gave me a hotpink retainer box this time! LOL. :D

Wishing everyone happier days ahead. We shall work hard together! :D

Zone Comp 10:02 PM

1ST! ZONECOMP is finally OVERR! :D

It's like... a dream come true! A long-awaited dream; something I longed for and at the same time dared not wish too hard for it, due to the previous setbacks that we've gone through the previous years. It was a super contradicting thought. But... I've never wished soo horribly hard for something. So it's really great to have this lovely wish come true! The happiness is what money can never buy! :D

Oh gee. The 1st thing I did when I went into the waiting room was to read Mdm Xin Ying's letter and I teared straight away! Then Xun followed after that (she was reading too). It was all because of that line "I've got to make it happen, make your dreams happen". That line made me cry. Then I tried reading again after all our cases were over, and I cried again! Rarh, I did freak my team out! LOL.

I made a bad blunder in footdrill, and decided to chiong for the next few blunders after that. Because of that dumb-crying-due-to-MdmXY's-letter la! Couldn't get back in mode in time; footdrill was so early! Heh also because of the fact that I was misled by the judge la. 'Cos I'm used to hormat facing judge and the judge went behind us instead! So when Yi'an commanded hormat kakanan hormat I went kakiri and hormatted the judge instead. OOPS! Lol, and Simin said she skidded about when she did langkah left and right, 'cos the floor was slipperly. Yeah man, I love our bangs! :D

I'm still pretty proud of my blanket trick! well, me and Yi'an flopped blanket for bedmaking, so I made the patient cover himself with the blanket! Heh heh. :) But we missed our one whole procedure! My favourite ORAL MED. RARH. It was 40 marks gone! We should've probed the patient more. Ahh well.

YIKES! I have two symmetrical pimples on my cheeks! :/ And they're so obvious and red. -.- So now mdm grace calls me "red bean pau" instead of "sweetcorn pau"! LOL. And kokswee actually thought they popped out after all the crying after results! Hahaha. Heh. But I concluded that they're my lucky pimples! :D 'Cos the one on the right developed only today morning.

Prize presentation was SUPER MALU. We were supposed to get certificates of participation, and Yi'an marched all of us up! Yeah, she's supposed to go out alone. I didn't follow at first, 'cos I thought it wasn't right, but then Simin egged me on from behind so I had to start marching. LOL! Then my armswings were off! Rarh. Ahh well. And when they announced 1st runner up, I started crying already! Then I cried all the way up to stage later when it was our turn to receive our prizes and cried my way down. GEE, now that's embarrassing! Not that I can help it, though. They were tears of joy and disbelief.

The AA team was so sweet! They bought different soft toy sticks for all of us! Yi'an is SHIT, I am a STRAWBERRY, Simin is a STAR, Xunlin's a FORTUNECAT and daphne's a PENGUIN! :D And we took lots and lots of photos together before the comp! Which is a good thing; 'cos I think I look horrible for the rest of the photos taken after comp!

Congrats to the rest of the DHSJAB teams who made it to Nat Comp too! Goodjob goodjob!JIAYOU! :D

OHNO. HOMEWORK!
I shall explain to all teachers that I've been training hard for comp and don't have time to do homework! Oops.

Last comp train 6:21 PM

Sweetcorn pau, eh? HEH. :)

Last comp train today. Everything was pretty okay, I guess. Homenursing was kanchiong, but everything was done in time! First aid was pretty good too, I guess. I finally had a chance to link heart attack > cardiac arrest> shock. :D It was pretty fun to handle a casualty by myself.

LOL! Mdm Grace Foo kept commenting that my face looks like a pau! Is that even a compliment? Oh well. I guess I eat too many paus.

And things are going scandalous between me and "chashao pau"! The person I was going to meet today, and had to leave early because of that. Tsk tsk. These people think too much. This is just a normal meeting with a friend after training la. Haha.

Yupyup. I shall start trying to complete all uncompleted homework already. BYE! :)

Comp train 10:00 PM

Today's the 2nd-last day of comp train. We get free breakfast! :D But my team didn't really want to eat, though.

Home nursing was pretty okay la, except for some blur blunders. The depression case was the first time I actually "went into" a case, hehe. 'Cos Eli was so uncooperative I was so desperate that I really wanted to help her. Like a real depression patient. LOL! I thought first aid was pretty good though! :D Sir Kin Keong came to visit, and became our casualty! Haha. He bought toblerone for us, which XL tried for the first time and didn't like it already. Oops.

RARH, I hate team talks. I always get so emotional! :/ Oh well. Once I start crying, it's pretty difficult for me to stop! But I cry for the same few things nowadays. I mean, I hardly get emotional! Except for romantic movies and sometimes comp team.

Simin drew this for me in my notebook to cheer me up! Now that's nice of her. :D Xun wrote something in my notebook with almost made me cry again, but it's good effort too.

Gee. My eyes feel pretty heavy now. I shall stop here... Byebye.

This is random! Hee. I watched STEP UP 2 with Liz, DH, Thomas and Eugene. It was super nice! And very highh~. Then we went Starbucks! [Hmmm. I wanted to blog this like earlier on so now I forgot what I wanted to say already.]

Updates 9:11 PM

I'm here to blog! Haha, I've been quite busy nowadays, there's no time to blog at all! It's finally the MARCH HOLIDAYS! Not that it's something to rejoice about, since I still have so much things going on and so much homework today. Ahh well. I shall write about some stuff which happened recently.

Watched The Leap Years with Lizard last Saturday! It was a pretty good movie, I suppose! Except that the ending was quite cheesy, like what Nat said. I cried and cried until the last part, when the man opened his eyes, it seemed pretty weird to cry. In fact some people over at the front (the cinema was pretty full) burst out laughing! -.- No offence, I'd prefer the guy to die! At least it can make this whole movie end in a less cliche way and I can continue crying properly.

Oh well. I had surprisingly horrible math results! RARH. 3/20! :( And the recent math test ain't going to be good either; worked with a sick brain that day. But I shall get better results than my previous math test! I hope. Bio test was pretty good; but I made a superduper careless mistake which I'm still pretty upset about.

Yesterday's Routine Training cum AGM cum House activities was pretty good! Routine training was pretty okay, I guess. We only did pt after all. The Sorting Ceremony was super successful! I love SERI and our 5 new members. :D

Okay, and today was church! Yay, I finally got to go church! There were sooo many CCA activities in the previous Sundays! >.< Well, today wasn't much la, pastor talked about marriage problems and love language; not of much relevance to me. I want to go for the Good Friday performance though! Except sadly, guess there'd be routine training, ahh well. Can't go for church next week too; ZONE COMP. Yesyes, it's finally coming! LOL.

Heh heh. I shall be good and start on my homework soon! Byebye! :)
