Comp train 10:15 PM

I want to go for RUSSIA trip! I really really really really really want to go for the trip. >.< But RARH, I cannot go! Firstly, it's my once-in-a-lifetime SJ POP. And I just heard it can't be slightly postponed after all! :( Secondly, I promised my parents I won't go for any more expensive trips this year, since I'd already gone for the UK trip last year. But... this trip's super interesting! And we get to see Lenin! It's like from 23-30 May. POP cuts in at the last few days of the trip. :(

Hehehe. Today's comp train... okay la it was not that bad. I need to study! Or rather, revise la. Super rusty with my pro lines. RARH, my donots are going down the drain! I must bring them back. Hehe, "donots" almost looked like "donuts"! :D Speaking of this I just remembered XL telling me about having so much food around me. Like a bitten jam biscuit on my pencil case and a donut on my hp. Then I suddenly linked to a carrot-and-donkey story (from Mulan I think). And haha, Daphne became the "donkey", after my jam biscuit! :D I <3 our BANGS today! Most of them la, haha.

OOH. I shall study for my Physics test now. BYEBYE!

Hehe. The teachers made love letters for us again. My class had 2/3 people who won the Dunman High dolls! So lucky. :D

PE was interesting. Eustance's brother was our half-PE teacher. Oh, he runs fast! >.< Either that or my stamina has failed me. But... after all I'm still recovering from my kayaking course la haha.

Was translating song lyrics with Rachel during class today. LOL, it was pretty efficient and fun la. We were doing it through a couple of science and history lessons. We managed to get "When There Was Me And You" from HSM nicely translated out!

OOH, my ANGEL appeared again! It (I'm tired of saying "he/she") gave me a big crunchie bar and clodhoppers and a cute little chick hp charm! The Crunchie bar was slightly overwhelming for me though; I finished the whole bar for lunch and kind of got a slight sorethroat after that. :/ But the clodhoppers were nice! :D Well... after all it's my angel's kindness to me, so I made an attempt to finish those sinful chocolates!

Yay, and I'm an ANGEL in SMC1 now! :D I shall be myself and help the new Std1s, the nice way. They're coming this Friday!

Kayaking Course 11:45 PM

Hehe. KAYAKING IS FUN! :D

Except for the capsize drills la. The seawater keeps going into my nose when I went underwater! Besides that, the paddling and raft-ups are cool! Today was pretty successful for me, my boat didn't capsize! And I realised that I could swim after all! I think I just don't have confidence swimming long distances, especially when I cannot touch the ground! It's a phobia, but I'm glad I can swim!

And for once, I didn't get sunburnt! Applied a whole lot of sunblock all over me, especially on my face. But I missed out a couple of places, like at the tip of my nose and the area around my right eye, and these patches got sunburnt after that! O.O

Went for squad dinner at Macs after that. And KS started with his mean jokes again. Mean but quite funny sometimes. Not that I agree with his jokes la, but it's pretty amusing! Wahh, and he laughs funny. LOL.

Next week we're going to learn lifesaving and a couple more techniques I guess. Hehe. Lots of fun! :)

Friday RT 9:25 PM

Today was quite a sleepy day eh. Alot of tests are coming out next week! I shall start studying on Sunday. And classroom happened to be pretty cold today. I shall start bringing my jacket next week!

RARH. Was quite emo during training today. But I couldn't help it eh. Firstly, it was supposedly my last training with the Std 3s. But we didn't even have a proper time slot for smc talk due to time constraints. Oh, and there's something wrong with my right eye contact lens which made me tear suddenly, and I had to remove it. So I was like half blind throughout the training. Then came the comp team talk after training. Gee, when I closed my eyes, images started sprouting into sight. Memories. Plus the story was pretty relevant. Then I felt the tears swelling in my closed eyes. Wanted to blink them away but I realised my eyes were closed already. So I couldn't get rid of them la! I hope no one saw; I wiped them away the moment I opened my eyes. Hehe, and the SMC3 cake was good! :D

I just found out that I'm the combined UG campfire's mass dance i/c along with CK. Hehe, mass dance sounds fun! :) Just that I can't find time to LEARN the dance. Although I'd love to skip my other commitments to learn the dance on Monday!

It's kayaking course tomorrow! Well, it's at Pasir Ris, so I guess it's not that bad. I'm more worried about getting sunburnt again; after all it's like hours and hours under the sun! *YAWN* Good night.

Hello! Came to update my blog.

Tired! Rushed for 3rd lang today, and overslept on the train! Yeah, and I alighted at Yio Chu Kang instead of Bishan. Oops.

I'm a NO2! :) Yes, comp team numbers are out! Yi'an's NO1, Simin's NO3 and Xun Lin's NO4, and Daphne's NO5.

Hehe. I think Dai Yang Tian (Fang You Fang in "Taste of Love") is quite cute! :D Like Elvin Ng! He's a new Mediacorp artiste.

Okay, I shall go do my stuff now. Last routine training with the Std3s tmr! :( Byebye!

Haircut 10:48 PM

Hehe! Cut my hair today. It feels very light now! I decided to cut my hair short, after much consideration and recommendations from the hairstylist.

Liz came with me! LOL, and that was because she didn't feel like going home. Ahem. She has lots of things to do actually, all related to the subject C. Poor her, she had to wait in the salon for like 1hr++ while I got my shampoo and haircut. Before that we went to the tcc for tea! :D And she once again cleared my misconceptions about UK and Britain; and this time Europe and Italy and Germany too. My geog's really bad! Yeah, so after my super long haircut I accompanied her to shop at Raffles City for her retail therapy. After all she waited so long for me!


Liz trying so hard to make me understand the relation between the countries and continents by drawing me a diagram. Focus's on her vanilla bread pudding and apple tea with my honey latte in front. :D

Yay, my dear angel gave me something today! I have no idea who he/she is. But, THANKS ALOT! :)

Hehe, another go-home-early Friday! :D Well it's been quite a while since I've got no CCA on Friday. And seriously, I don't really mind actually, hehe.

Today was quite a normal day la. I was actually the most active during LA lesson! Haha, and Miss Yee actually commended us for asking questions, like "How about 'god-like' (for the word 'divine')?" Hahaha, yesyes our questions were quite ridiculous! We were checking answers for comprehension.

I think it's really been a tiring week for me! BSP+3rd Lang+Comptrain. >.< Hmmm. And there's quite a lot of homework to complete over the weekends. But no worries, I'll get through!

Routine training tmr~ It's going to be lots of fun! :)

I think my quiz reseults are flooding at the bottom of my Facebook profile! But i kind of like my results la. I think they're pretty... me! :) But I do have better things to do though! OOPS.

Actually, I'm just updating my blog. Been quite busy lately, with a lot of things on schedule. Ran 2.4km today! My legs are sore... didn't do warm-up. But I felt good running today! (I still remember my Seoul Garden binge! :/)

Maybe I'll have to blog less frequently from now. *YAWN* Good night! :D

Hmmm. So I've decided to stick with all my commitments after all! :) Went to find the BSP HOD today. Yes yes, he was hard to refuse! And, guess it's not too heavy la, BSP. I hope I can cope! I shall stay for the sake of my free immersion programme to Nanjing at the end of the year. Now I shall do something about my 3rd lang timing. Hope I get transferred into a class with Dunmanians!

OMG, my ACE teacher is super weird! I don't know whether to cry or laugh in his lesson eh. He talked and talked and walked up the stairs to the back of the class so we had to twist our necks to look at him. And then we realised that we did not have to do so. He says it's good to do "sound surround"; we didn't have to look at him. -_- Oh, and that "bijiboo" thing! LOL, he meant notebook in chinese la. Then there was this talk between carrots and peas which the word "carrots" was misinterpreted as "parrots" by someone who heard wrongly. And, we learnt that education is for "honey"! That's what Xiang Yu concluded la, haha. Very very wrong! And he called himself a "Fuddy Duddy"! It's supposed to mean old-fashioned I think. So wierd! But he's quite funny la. I was pretty much entertained for this last lesson of the day/ week! :)

YAY, no CCA today! So I went out with Xiu Han to Bugis. And hahaha, I finally tried that riceball thing which I was craving for a long time already! :D It's super cool la, nice, warm and healthy. Here's a picture of XH's bitten rice ball. I ate the same thing too! It's made up of mixed grains and veggies. SUPER NICE!


Oh, and we were eating outide the building, facing the fountain, sitting at some stone seats. And this super cute boy boy keep saying "Hello" to me! :) Actually I didn't notice him at first; then XH said "hello" back to him. Then she was like, "The boy saying hello to you leh! Say hello back la!". So we started exchanging Hellos with the cute boy boy until we left when we finished eating. And I got my fave milk tea from MUJI! :)

HEHEHE, and we found lots of cool deals! We bought USEFUL stuff. Like notebooks! Hahaha, they were super cheappp and super cute! :D And we found novels at $1 only! There were merchandise notebooks at $0.50 la! All at the newly-opened Popular Bugis!

Oh, and heard that the Higher Chinise re-exam was quite difficult! :/ Oh well, all the best to Lizard and Denise! They should pass la, I hope!

Haha, AM I GLAD to say that my sunburn has completely healed! :D Fresh new skin! Haha, it looks really shiny! It's seriously not oily although it looks like oil-shine. Smooth and nice radiant skin! Haha, EGO! :)

Height&Weight 10:28 PM

RARH. We took height and weight today! And I really grew fatter, after my Seoul Garden binge. My BMI's about 19 now. Okay la, still healthy! But we didn't do anything sweaty at all today! Mr Tan just got us to sit down and started talking. For the rest of the PE lesson, after height and weight. -_- Still feeling quite bloated today, I think I'm going to be sick. :/

My sunburnt face looks horrible, currently. 'Cos it's peeling pretty badly. Gee, I look hideous! Nevermind nevermind, it'll be okay in a couple of days' time!

Seating arrangement changed! Haha, still seating in the same row, which is good! :D But I'll be seating with different pple la, haha. It actually started with drawing lots, but there were lots of mutual swops going on everywhere. That's good; or else I'd literally be surrounded by guys, like front back left right! >.< LOL, what kind of lots are these!

Class committee changed too! Hmmmm. I'm a Physics rep now! :) LOL, but Physics is my worst subject! Sigh, I shall not fail my Physics this year. I really hope not! Oh man, and I'd better remember to find the BSP teacher-in-charge tomorrow! And I shall bring all my 3rd lang stuff tommorow too. LOL, I shall not get into trouble with my sensei or the super-fierce security guard anymore!

Farewell dinner @ Seoul Garden 11:44 PM

OOH! Came back from Sir Kin Keong and Sir Dickson's farewell dinner at Bugis Seoul Garden. I was sitting with Hoyee, Lee Si Min and Tzu Hsiang. Oh man, we totally binged! Yeah, we had to eat more to make our $24 worthwhile. Wahh, I ate a very big variety of food eh! From spaghetti to coffee chicken to mini chocolate cupcakes to ice-cream and many many more. Oh, and /th's a pro egg cracker, while Candice's a pro corn-cob cooker. We've even decided that she should start a shop, and we've officially named it "Corny Candice"! :D

LOL, I was intimidated by the splattering oil in the hotplate, so I didn't really dare to cook the meat or other food. So Hoyee and /th served me most of the time. I was served quite a lot of (spicy) meat though! But it's okay la, it's really nice of them to cook for me already. :) THANK YOU!

Made a lot of noise and took a lot of photos at the restaurant. Oops. We must've made the Seoul Garden workers very unhappy! :/

YAY, and Sir Hua Wei popped by later, when we started eating Yi'an's very hard chocolate cake! :D Okay la, it wasn't too bad, it actually tasted like those soft-baked cookies! Hehe I even took another piece and shared it with Hoyee. :)

Sigh, my nose has started peeling today, while my cheeks looked extra shiny. Bet it's gonna peel tomorrow! Hmmm, I shall take care of my skin more. Oh man, I've been sunburnt consecutively for quite a few times recently!

RARH. I just remembered that I may be taking height and weight for PE tomorrow! AHHHHH. I'll have a horrible weight! Hmmm, maybe Mr Tan'll make us run instead. I need some running! >.<

CCA Orientation! 9:25 PM

YAY, Orientation's OVER! :D
Yes yes, I'm sunburnt again. Actually I haven't really healed from my previous sunburnt on Saturday, so I'm more sunburnt today. I thought it was good weather! Good weather = no sun. Well, it was pretty fine from 8.30am to 10am. After that it got sunny, really sunny! So at the later part of the orientation everytime I did till CPR, it'd be like "one-and-two-and-three-and-four-and-fifteen" and I'd get *dizzy dizzy dizzy* but *thinks: I cannot faint, I cannot faint* as I continued with the rest of it till "one-and-two-and-three-and-four-and-thirty". And I totally screamed my head off today at my CPR booth! I think the sec1s won't understand what I was blabbering in high pitch la. Hehe and a couple of sec 1s asked me whether I was the one on the poster at the parade square. They actually recognised me! AHHH. Well, I never minded being in charge of the CPR booth and doing CPR for the whole of Orientation. Actually, I think it's a pretty cool job! But haha, not when my face goes red la. :)

Oh, and my jap lesson totally messed up today! Rushed off for 3rd lang with Deborah at 3pm; CCA stuff ended late. Then later we changed the wrong train at City Hall! And we went towards Marina Bay instead of Woodlands. So we got off and took the correct one, thank goodness we weren't late still!

And, my sensei was soooo stringent about speaking jap to her in class! Me and Deborah were the first to come in; so the moment I sat down I tried to ask her about class transfer, because of comp team trainings. So, I was like "Sensei, can I transfer to Tuesday & Thursday?". And my sensei replied something like speak to her in jap. And I always have trouble speaking with senseis in jap 'cos they reply so fast I can't catch what they're talking about. And then I'll get nervous at replying, due to my limited vocab. So I ended up stuttering some "Kayoubi to mokuyoubi no jyuu gyou- Tuesday and Thursday lessons" and I got stuck. So my sensei completed my sentence for me and I just nodded in agreement. Then she blabbered some more stuff which I couldn't catch on time and I think she ended with something like "Wakaranai- I don't know.". So much for asking her whether I could transfer class!

Rarh, and I did the homework that I didn't need to pass up. And I didn't do the stuff which I needed to pass up! Oh no, I hope she doesn't give me zero for that mini sakubun! :( I forgot to bring some worksheets too. Sigh! Stressed stressed stressed. Nevermind, my sensei drives me to work hard by creating such stress.

OKAY, I shall go do my JAP HOMEWORK now. Byebye! :)

NC'07 Outing 2008 9:58 AM

Went for NC'07 outing yesterday. But, it still didn't feel complete. Not when someone very important in our team was missing. Oh well.

We spent alot of time at Billy Bombers. Candice had alot of those discount coupons, and we had to spend this certain amount of money to get that discount, although we were opting for something cheaper, haha. Well, I guess the potato salad was nicer than that at New York. There was only one serving of pasta though, and both Xun and Mdm Huiru had to get something else while I got it. Whoops. But I shared with Xun la. Haha.

Watched I Am Legend. AHAHA Candice was scared! She kept hiding behind her big tortoise bag. But I wasn't! :D Just that those dark seekers were really ugly, and they scream shrilly! But both of us went emotional at the last part, when the doc sacrificed his life for the whole of mankind. Well, it really was touching!

Oh, and we went Macs after the movie. Mdm XY treated all of us! Peirong and Xun got a cheesecake, while I got a muffin. Candice took forever to touch that delicious Oreo cheesecake which Mdm XY bought for her! Hahaha. And who's the one who kept saying that we should make her treat us as she promised? That stubborn person! :)

Reached home late yesterday night; at about 11am. Red and tired! But had lots of fun with my ex-teammates and current + ex-mentors. And haha, we decided to have something like that every year! Yay! :D

RARH. I'm sunburnt again! Yes, it's orientation prep again! Although this time it ended very early; 12.30pm yesterday. And it took me a looong while to realise that yesterday, 'cos it didn't hurt. I think it's really gonna get worse on Monday! :( Hahaha. More sec1s better come in for my sacrifice!

Mural painting 8:47 PM

Had my first Japanese lesson yesterday. Yay, my classroom's in the library! :D And I have a pretty cool and strict teacher too. Good good. Drives me to work hard. And I have a pro friend with me- Deborah! Hehe. But sigh, only both of us Dunmanians in the class. 'Cos we got the ulu ulu Mon & Thurs time slot. But haha nvm la! :)

LOL, I saw those posters in school today! AHHHH. I look pretty weird! Oh well, all'll be over after orientation, when those posters are taken down haha.

Today's mural painting was pretty fun! Ours looked like a Japanese flag! Hahaha. I drew that 36-cent Airmail things! Here it is:


Hahaha, it's only about 1/12 of the whole board. But I'm still pretty proud of it! :D And dear Nicole's really good at fine-tuning the letters! Steady patient hands of a Art Clubber. Hehe. But I did help out painting other stuff too, of course! The hall wall's gonna be really colourful with all these drawings from us Year 4s!

Oh yes, and my class name may be changed to 4FUN! :D Orientation prep again tmr! I hope the weather's better; no more sunburns for me! Byebye! :)

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 6:55 PM

First day of school! Well, it had a good start, with receiving our HSK certs! I got 396/400! OMG, that's such a pretty score! It sure did made my day. New year resolution one: Get good grades- striked off! :D LOL, if only this was my Physics or Math score! Yeah, like 99% or something, so cool! Well, I shall work harder this year! I hope? Hmmm actually nothing much actually happened today. A couple of briefings, a bit of planning, and the day's over! :)

3rd Lang starts tmr! My slots are changed to Mon and Thurs now, and it's only Deborah and me! Anyway, yay, quite excited. But I have to like go home after sandcastles and go to Bishan again! >.< And, I kind of lost my 1 big stack of uncompleted holiday homework. OOPS!

OOH I just found that the combined UG banner's hung in front of the parade square already! Yeah, and the smaller ones too. Oh no, I hope they look okay! >.< I can't wait to go to school the day after! Hahaha.

I shall go find my big stack of jap rev ws now. BYEBYE!
If only everyday can be the same as today...
