The year of the pig's coming really soon, in less than 24 hours! And i'm sick... :( Think lizard passed it to me lol. Felt terrible ytd, but i stil went out shopping with my mum. It's sad being sick in this happy holiday. I heard that if u're sick in the new year period u wud be sick for the rest of the year... and i really hope not! :S I used up like 1 dustbinful of tissues ytd!
Home-nursing method of reducing body temperature is not what i'd follow actually... Taking baths is a chore when u're sick, and u wud feel so cold. My mum went to switch on the aircon for me although i was strongly against it. But my selfish brother (he bunks in with me) insists on the aircon coz he says he would not be able to sleep if we dont switch on the aircon. So my mum had to switch it on and i insisted that i dont want the fan. And surprisingly they agreed! The aircon was like 23 degrees as usual so i think the room wasnt as cold as what the room felt lik normally when we switch on the fans. I stil wrapped myself in blankets and wore my sweater though. So in the middle of the night (actually it was abt dawn) i woke up coz i was sweating profusely. I think the aircon was switched off (timer) and my bro was soundly sleeping (he didnt haf any blanket or sweater). I went to switch on the fan, took off my sweater and went back to bed. And in the morning when i woke up i felt much more cooler! My running nose doesnt run as much now. But i stil haf abit of cough and a wet nose.
I'm gonna stay up late today, so that i can let my parents live longer. My bro says this wud be a great excuse for him to play computer until a later time. But i've got a better way to spend my time. Homework! I seriously haf quite alot of homework to tackle for these few days of rest. And alot of upcoming tests to study for... triple sci tests all on next week! That's lik really sad! Guess i better start on some of them now. Bye!
