I think i've been really lucky this whole week. Well, at least that's what i think... which makes me really happy =)
Take today. I went to the movies with dawn and xun at TM. Step Up was nice... although i was quite blur at times coz i didnt hear what the ppl were saying... i thot there wud be subtitles -_-". I like Nora in the movie... she's soo pretty and talented! After that we went window shopping. I wanted to get some basic tees for cip (i'd run out of tees to wear) so we went to this particular store. The salespeople there were really nice! I saw a tee at 16 bucks and they had a 50% sale, so i asked the salesguy whether the tee was before or after discount. The salesguy said i cud have it on 50% discount, although that tee wasnt supposed to be on discount. He was so nice can! Oh the salesgirl there was nice too. Haha but they give me discount quietly coz there were other ppl in the shop too. So in the end i bought a tee at half price although i wasnt supposed to. Xun bought something too. She got a discount too.. although it wasnt 50%... haha but it's still good la =) Too bad dawn didnt haf enuff money... she'd plan to buy this orange top at the store too. Who wudnt buy from such kind salespeople? =p
This isnt the 1st time i was exposed to such kindness. Earlier on this week when i was doin cip in downtown east and we went to the foodcourt for lunch, this noodle stall auntie gave me a special discount. The noodles costed 4.50 but she charged me at 4 bucks... and let me use my volunteer pass too. So in the end i bought my noodles at 3.60. Oh and there was a time when i bought a drink and requested for an extra cup of ice... and the auntie didnt charge me although she was supposed to...
Okay, this may be juz little things... but they really make my day... This was the 1st time i had so many "special" offers for so many days... Although i feel so paiseh that im treated differently... i shall buy more from these ppl next time =)
Oh and i was shortlisted for my scholarship! Although i cant make it on the interview date coz i'm still on holiday.. the 4th of december. =( My mum called up the in-charge to see if i cud change to another date... but she said that she cant promise coz the dates were all set and it was my fault that i didnt mention that i was unavailable on this date on my app form... yea it was really my fault... so i can only pray that my luck can last long enuff for me to change my interview date successfully... please?
Maybe doing cip makes me lucky. Hee. I simply love ME. =)
