I just came back from class chalet. It was really fun! I guess we were more bonded after the chalet. Aloha Changi was rather ulu though. You can walk for ages and not see a single person. And it's just next to the old Changi Hospital... it's totally creepy and abandoned can. Our house's a long long walk from the reception, so if we needed any help we actually had to walk for 15min lol.. haha thank goodness we were rather safe. But the house was really big.. and i heard it was cheaper than some houses which were smaller.
We didnt do much on the first day, since we checked in late afternoon. We just slacked around, played cards before dinner. The GOONG fans all went to watch the DVD on tricia's DVD player. It was such a small screen and we were all crowding around it lol. After that it was the steamboat dinner. It was really cool eating steamboat with friends. The people at my table just dumped all the ingredients in the steamboat and we finished everything the earliest, although we only had 5 people (other tables had 6-7 people). After dinner we continued doing our own stuff and just mingled around.
The second day was the most fun. We had a great breakfast, credits to dawnlee, jess, steph and people. After that we went to pasir ris park for the amazing race. Dawnlee's dad came and fetch us from pasir ris mrt station with his lorry. So the whole class (about 20 of us) all squeezed on the open-air back of the lorry. Only dawntan refused to sit at the back with us and went to sit at the front with dawnlee and her parents. She claimed that sitting at the back would mess up her hair -_-". Haha typical bimbo. Haha but anyway it was a really fun experience sitting at the back. Dawntan u missed alot! After reaching pasir ris park, we were divided into groups. I was with april and yigang, together with the facils amy and liqin. I tried out the spider web slide and the flying fox for the first time, after living in pasir ris for lik 10 over years lol. It was really fun, although u cant exactly slide on the slide coz it was too rough. I still couldnt climb the spider web though. I was stuck at the bottom coz i didnt noe how to climb further and i also had a fear of heights. The haze was really bad when we played the activities though. Everything was a blur.
After the amazing race was over we went Burger King at downtown east for lunch. The american chicken sandwich was nice =) But it was real ex can... 6 bucks! Hehe it was worth the money anyway... it's better than the student's meal. After lunch we went tampines safra for bowling. I didnt play a game, but i helped people to play occasionally, although my aiming was rather bad la paiseh. Dawnlee looked cute playing bowling. She rolled the ball so gently. Haha i think it's her 1st time bowling.
Then we went back to the house for our bbq dinner, while jess went back to get her mahjong set. The bbq dinner was nice, although many food got burnt =(. I liked the kebabs and sweet potato. After all i helped to prepare the ingredients =). But too bad i missed the GOONG. Aww well the TV was mute anyway. No sound. (My friends tried to fix the tv so that we could watch the DVD on tv instead of the small dvd player screen and in the end the tv went bonkers. shh.. =p) We didnt get to bbq marshmallows though.. we couldnt finish the other food =(. I love bbq marshmallows. After the bbq i played cards with my friends. I learnr how to play daidi, blackjack and CHEAT. Dawntan helped me alot in the games coz i wasnt sure how to play. But i always got caught when i attempted to play cheat in CHEAT. Boo. I made a fool of myself. But i had lotsa fun playing in the night.
That night however, most people slept earlier than us (dawntan, xiuhan, yigang, zhanjie- we were playing cards), lik 12am. The night before many people stayed up real late. Guess they were really tired. The guys came into our girls' room to sleep -_-". They took up two of our mattresses! We actually had two single beds, but we shifted the furniture around and made room for 4 mattresses, 2 of which we got from the next room. Haha luckily most of the girls in our room went home so the four of us which were left managed to squeeze on the 2 beds left. Hehe we noticed some funny things that people do when they sleep. You know, like snoring and stuff... Lol the four of us had a really good laugh. Dawntan recorded... ahem's snores. I wonder if he knows he snores? Hehe. I slept till rather late in the morning, lik 9am. I didnt sleep well the night before. Maybe it was becoz we switched on the aircon and turned off all the lights this time. But i remember i woke up freezing in the middle of the night. The aircon was 16degrees! In the end i pulled the blanket off xiuhan in the midst of trying to make myself warmer, and xiuhan woke up cold in the morning. Oops =/.
The last day, which is today, was home sweet home. Jess and people cooked nasi lemak for us. These people are so cool can. They organised abd took care of everything in the chalet. Yup they had great leadership. Hehe im only good at helping around. Haha but helpers are good too =) Me dawntan and xiuhan helped to make the beds and arranged the furniture back for the people before we left to catch the chalet bus at 10.30am.
So in conclusion, the class chalet was fun! But i had to miss my jap lessons today coz i was really tired when i came home and i slept for quite awhile. It's just playing games anyway, i guess it's okay... Yup that's about all for now. I shall blog again next time! 2F rawks! =)
