Today was the DHS version of Amazing Race.. im in the same team as jess steph xiaoqian anting shiying siyun sharon dawnlee minjie haoyi... ya wif 2 sc facilitators mingshuan and han zi... whoa im really tired out man... did lotsa running islandwide. but it was very fun la, we went mediacorp (it was our 2nd station) and saw chen tian wen who was filming in a car (cool they stick a cam at the front of the car to film the inside) he even waved @ us lor... we even saw pierre png... the "yang yang" in
We went sj headquarters 2.. lol tt time i 4gt where it was i only remembered it's somewhere btw kallang n lavender haha.. den my teammates found out frm their parents it was beach road then ya, i recalled le... yup tt station was simple, we only needed 2 find out the commisioner which was Mr Hia la..
Yup and there was this youth park station 2.. we acted out some Miss Congeniality contest i think.. we were lik shouting in public and the ppl who turned to look @ us wud b our "audience"... haha it was real paiseh.. but also very fun la haha..
We even went to tt former rjc school.. the campus tt we wud b goin 2 in sec3.. wah buona vista is lik so far away frm my home lor... yup n there was this task tt needs us 2 roam around the school... whoa it looks really old n deserted haha... but ya it's very big la... there were some places tt were so dark i dun think i wud ever walk around alone (i was wif jess n sharon)...
Oh n there was this railway station somewhere in tanjong pagar i think. was it there? well erm nvm but tt railway station actually belongs 2 malaysia.. cool... yup i didnt even noe there was such a place la, so it was an eye-opener for me. hehe. we bought our lunch there. we had sunshine breadrolls 4 lunch. haha alotta ppl bought choco rolls, i bought a kaya roll haha.
Hmm and we caught a group jaywalking. tt group was doin the same stations as us la, so we were competing wif them. we actually caught the video of them jaywalking in the video cam, but my facilitator han zi was too kind to confront them, so ya.. in the end they gt 2nd and another group gt 1st but we gt nth. haiz.
When we came bak jess had hyperventilation... her hands were stiff and she was so scared tt she was crying. and then the 1st aid tt i learnt in sj came 2 use. i noe tt hypervent is due 2 lack of carbon dioxide ma.. so cup her hands lor.. yup and reassure... this was the 1st time i had a real "casualty" and the 1st time i put my 1st aid skills 2 use.. although it wasnt some serious case i was really glad. i mean, glad tt i cud help my fren when she was in need la, nt glad tt she hypervent la. 4 once, i was happy tt im a trainee 1st aider (i mean normally im neutral la).. haha i lik 2 help ppl. i lik sj! =)
Yup yup i nid 2 go le... nw it's 11.55pm... going to 12am le.. haha but thank goodness tml no sj. i plan 2 slp till 12pm. haha. n i think i shall go my uncle's hse 2 learn tennis.. provided tt he has time la. haha. =)
