Oh ya, to those tt i've said im nt goin 2 countdown n wud rather sit comfortably on the sofa n watch tv... yup last min im goin nw becoz my family wanna go... haha so if y'all goin den.. cya there! =)
Today's the last day of year 2005 le.. haiz time flies really fast... now it's time to welcome the doggie year 2006! i mean, in a few hrs' time la.. i will be a real sec2 n std2 soon le... (stil nt very used 2 bein called a std2 though) n i will haf juniors! heehee. oh erm i have many many new year resolutions 2... i shall name some here:
1) Do do better in my geography and history
2) Play lesser, study harder
3) Survive my pts
4) Have enuff (or more) $$ to spend =p
5) To be able to manage my time better
6) To get to know my squadmates n frenz even better
Okay... i nid 2 go to the countdown @ Downtown East soon... yup so i shall end it here... wishing everybody a happy happy new year and may all your new yr resolutions come true! Stay happy! Woof! =)

Merry Christmas everyone! Happy Bday 2 Jesus! Yesterday's countdown in maple was really cool... everyone gathered at world cassopeia.. lotsa lagging... yeah and it started wif monsters attacking us maplers.. i think i died lik 5 times.. lotsa exp gone.. and then GMCPaxxion came 2 the rescue! yay! he was so shuai haha... and he looks so cool man... hahha y m i tokin abt maple? lol nvm.. hmm im in my aunt's hse now.. we're gonna cut the logcake soon hee... everything's juz so cool now.. the weather (maybe it's becoz it's nite), the christmassy atmosphere, and the fact tt im using my laptop in my aunt's hse... yup haha... okay okay last but nt least i shall wish everyone who reads this entry a very merry christmas and may all ur dreams come true in the cool year 2006! =)

i juz took tt rate my life quiz on dawn's blog.. same as her, i dun haf love lol... but the others are okay la... body n spirit the highest.. hmm...
Oh i juz realised tt i'd repeated quite alotta stuff frm my previous previous entry in my previous entry... which was abt pre-camp 2... lol i totally 4got i talked abt pre-camp le... but nvm, ppl juz dun read both can le. haha.. n i 4got to talk abt the tents. yup some seniors actually said tents werent nice to sleep in, but i found tents very cool leh haha... there were no insects n stuff n we were indirectly sleeping on the soft soft grass so it was actually quite a nice exp 4 me... also a "1st time" 2 haha... except tt it was very very warm in the night la... surprisingly.. yup so my track pants and sweater didnt came 2 use @ all... hmm n me, yijie, cindy and siewkee, we were tentmates, didnt zip up our tent coz it'd b 2 stuffy n warm inside... n really dark lol... i i dun think any1 zipped up their tents in my squad... did they? haha but anyway sleeping in tents is certainly much more better than sleeping on the hard hard tables in classrooms... classrooms are cold 2 sleep in 2... i'd really really want to haf a good night's sleep in a tent w/o any disruption 4 the whole nite.. which is in this case wif sentry duty alot of fire drills and also a pt to start the day (which i stil consider it as night)... yea so to end it all i totally loved my 1st sleeping-in-a-tent experience haha... and my dear mum managed to clean my dhs exp tee after all... no more brown stains... yay! alot of bleach was used though... thank goodness the print on my tee didnt fade lol...
Okay, before i did this entry i read a couple of blogs 2 make me recap wut happened 2 days b4. apparently i'd sorta forgotten wut i'd done in camp due to exhaustion... and my memory's fault also la... haha after all i only had lik 2hrs of sleep the night b4... stil i was rather amazed my squadmates cud rmb things so well. ya n tis is so gonna b a long entry.
Pre-camp was rather tirin actually, considerin the fact tt we were pumped by seniors quite a few times... which we later learnt a phrase "push the earth" instead of juz "knock it down"... i actually thot the phrase as sth more friendly, but of coz the pumps are stil as bad la.. my knees slightly bled tis time. for the 1st time. i think it was becoz i was doin on the standing-board-jump mat. very rough. lotsa friction. but it was our fault ya. we had slow movement and stuff. n in the camp motto C.I.E.T.S we didnt haf our "E" which stands 4 Efficiency.
Well and early in the morning we were pumped when we didnt greet a sir. actually we were abt to. but it was 2 late la, the sir thot we thot him as "invisible" and then screamed at us. it was real real loud.
Oh and i think i shall mention the 4 groups. the 36 of us std 1s were divided into "S","J","A" and "B" which stands 4 Survivor Jazzli Aquilia and Brilliance respectively. im in Aquilia, together wif dawn audrey xiuli yi'an leesimin hosimin kaiming and kaiwen plus our adviser staff dickson ya...
Hmm and we learnt some knots and lashes which were appropriate for pitching a tent from a sir whom we thot was JC2. haha but later we found out tt he was actually 20 yrs old le. okay i nid 2 admit tt i've forgotten everything right after the very day. coz the next day which was camp day 1 i had trouble with the knots when pitching the tent and in the end had alot of seniors 2 help me. tell me abt my bad memory.
Oh and after tt was the activation... it was actually the 1st time i was a real casualty. but there was no makeup though, i only gt a slip of paper with a couple of lines "pulse 0" and "breathing 0"... so i guess i can be considered dead? haha.. and me n yijie were required 2 lie under a table on level 1, so we waited quite long 4 ppl to come n "save" us... so during the long wait "unconscious" me shifted alot while "half-conscious" yijie kept arranging her hair. no offence hor yijie. hee. well and we were talking loudly across to each other frm under our benches which were lik 1m apart. oh and moses, he was supposed to lie down, but he actually walked around the corridors. lol.. guess it's ppl lik us tt confused the std 3s ba... haiz... well anyway a std 3 came n reassured the both of us twice b4 running off again... and after quite some time yijie gt rescued by the std 3s 1st... they actually lifted the table yijie was under. cool! and after tt they lifted her up on a stretcher n set off i think. coz i didnt open my eyes. i wasnt supposed 2.
for me, the std 3s didnt lift the table. they dragged the table. which means quite some vibration n noise pollution 4 me who was under the table. ya and after tt they saw my slip 4 the 3rd time and then a cpl tried 2 do a fake "cpr" on me.. but as i had "pulse 0 breathing 0", they didnt manage 2 save me.. so they went off leaving me behind lying flat on the grnd. i had 2 run bak later to the canteen 2 join my squadmates quite some time after activation was over. ya n later i found out tt 1st aiders cudnt care much abt "dead corpses", so i wasnt brought out or sth ya...
Camp Day1 was actually fun, as in we didnt get to push the ground much. sir terence actually was trying very hard to nt us push the grnd, since after all it was an activity camp but in the end he was really angry when we left our flags bak @ a corner of a wall when we went to fall in. ya and overall the whole day was still fun, i hafta say. let's c...
Early in the morning i realised i'd lost xiuli's name tag. until now i stil dunno where it went. in the end we had 2 let her use siling's 1 as she wasnt there. sorry xiuli!
ya n after tt did we start wif the games? oh ya no we had 2 pitch a tent. tt was the time i gt myself in such a fluster coz i 4got my stuff la.. but of coz wif the std 3s guiding me on i stil managed 2 do wut i had 2 to yup... hmm and then we cleaned the tents... tt already took me quite alotta energy haha
ya n next shud be the games... okay 1st we played tt form-a-square-wif-a-rope-blindfolded game... it was quite successful game la... after the 3rd try we improved alot and managed 2 form something lik a square... n then we played the swinging rope game. kaiming was worried tt he might cause the thing 2 break, but it didnt of coz haha... o and actually i was quite freaked out in the game ya.. i cudnt imagine swinging myself on a rope w/o fallin off. it was my 1st time doin tt la haha.. there were alotta "1st times" in tis camp haha. but in the end after a few tries thank goodness i managed 2 swing myself across n my team mates caught me! haha tt was close man. hmm n we played a slightly wet game where the 8 of us had 2 squeeze on 2 pieces of newspaper n it gt lesser and lesser when time goes by.. yup but we stil managed 2 squeeze together n shouted a cheer... n there was also 1 more game but i 4got le..
okay n then did we haf lunch? ya i think we did... n it was field cooking. we learnt hw 2 start a fire frm cpl yingxiao, it seemed so easy, but for aquilia we took quite some time to start the fire... we were stil stuck @ makin the fire stable which was lik almost goin out nw n then while jazzli next to us were already cookin instant mee and cooking all sorts of food. after tt we decided to start opening the canned sausages and luncheon meat le.. in the end we stil managed 2 start a fire strong enuff 2 cook maggi mee and i thot the noodles were pretty well cook while some said they were only half-cooked lol... oh and the 1st mass-tin of instant noodles we cooked had a whole lot of ashes in it... coz we 4gt to take the mass tin away when we were blowing the fire so in the end the ashes juz gt into the noodles... thinkin of it nw gives me goosebumps haha... ya n of coz we had to throw the noodles away la...
ya n later we went running 2 katong park wif a 1.5 litre bottle filled to the brim. i think i cud've survived on a 500ml bottle though coz my bottle was stil lik half full when i came back... hmm n we played alotta games there.. we started on a blindfold game... n kaiming was the 1 leading us wif audrey in front... the seniors kept disturbin us wif wrong directions in the 1st place.. but shortly after tt we managed 2 ignore the seniors' misleads and concentrate on kaiming's instructions... but i stil fell 4 1 which was lik holding some dried rough stuff tt staff dickson passed to me... which until nw i stil dunno wut isit but i heard tt it was some dog poo which was nt very likely as it was dry n very hard la... and then it was a playgrnd, where yi'an led us climbling up the stairs of a playgrnd and down a slide.. the slide was the the walkin-on-the-footwalk-wif-newspapers game was quite fun 2... we had alotta punishments though... which in the end we had to hug each other very very tightly to squeeze onto the limited amt of newspapers and walk through tt stoney path.. it wasnt very comfortable on the legs la haha... and we played a water bomb game.. i gt lik half wet coz 1 leg of mine gt splashed wif water... oh the "eli chasing dickson" part was interesting, it gt us ppl cheering haha... oh n later we played a squad's game which was caterpillar's crawl... n together as one we managed 2 surround our advisors n completed the aim of the game ya...
next was dinner. field cooking tis time was rather successful, cpl yingxiao made our fire so big but we didnt want to cook anymore so his hard work was actually 4 no use la haha... later was campfire... staff dickson n sir kinkeong were the hosts 4 the campfire.. "huo" and "la" respectively, so they were "huo la".. haha... it was supposed 2 b a magical sorta thing... ya... n the 4 grps did the skits... our skit was rather successful although it was inpromptu n we skipped alotta lines in our script... n kaiming did great wif his "showin off the muscles" char... it was real real funny... while yi'an was really the centre of attention wif her "ru hua" part ya... oh n we had a magic universe event 2.. where we dressed up kaiwen into such a cute wizard wif light sticks as glasses lol... hmm n the two hosts danced alot (we were supposed 2 folo, but moz didnt really do la... coz nt "zi high" enuff. haha.) there was also the madagascar song too lol... yup n we cheered alot 2... the singing part ended our campfire, a sir came n played the guitar 4 us... until nw i stil remembered hw the campfire looked, the fire burnt so brightly n magically lol... coz when i was singin the songs wif my fello squadmates n seniors i kept staring @ the campfire, thinkin "i muz rmb how tis campfire looks like"... coz it was my 1st campfire ya... thinkin of it juz makes my heart warm. haha.
oh n later we had light body maintenence, which means no shower, juz wash the face n brush the teeth. silly me brought a facial cleanser which was empty n in the end i only washed my face wif tap water... but of coz it was stil refreshing la...
n later we had sentry duty.. aquilia's duty was @ 1.10am... and we juz walked around the field n basketball court wif a torchlight in pairs.. it was very dark la... my partner was dawn, and we didnt dare look @ the trees n stuff... heard 2 much stories frm ppl lol...
Okay i consider it was Camp Day 2 le... ya n then in the middle of the night we had "red dragon". which means fire drill. a fire drill in the middle of the night. or shud i say 3? well but i seriously thot i only went to 2 fire drills, although i cudnt haf missed 1 fire drill... well 1st fire drill was bad, we fell in late n were pumped, 2nd fire drill was better, and was there a 3rd? i seriously cant rmb la...
oh and soon it was pt. early in the morning @ abt 4.30pm we woke up n had 2 wash ourselves 4 pt. man i was really really sleepy @ tt time, i cant even slp enuff wif so many fire drills man. pt was even worse. we did commando crawl on the wet grass n i gt my dhs exp tee stained wif mud or sth n now it has to be washed in bleach n i seriously hope my tee doesnt get ruined? n we had to hold up a chao heavy log in crunches position... i was on the side where we were pushed by the other side 1.. the ones whu cudnt get our legs in 90 degrees position de.. the other side muz haf alotta strong ppl lol... oh n we did alotta pumpings.. 350+ circuit pumping... surprisingly we completed it rather fast leh... ya n of coz, the running. we ran n ran n ran dunno hw many rounds around the field... whoa the whole pt was juz so so tiring... i think alot of nursings erm.. cried? ya juz had tears flowing down la.. but we stil completed everything anyway. yay.
yup n it was breakfast time. we had hot milo n a stack of bread filled wif weird stuff tt everyone added in their individual breads in the 1st place... yup n we were supposed to pass tis stack of bread around n haf 1 bite each until the whole stack of bread was eaten la... n 1st bite i tasted sardines wif nutella. 2nd bite tasted lik luncheon meat wif sardines i think... ya i only ate a few bites la... all wif diff combinations of foods lol... some ambulances juz took one piece of bread out or took a very big bite when it came to their turns ya so it was a big help to us nursings whu didnt want to eat the stack haha...
okay n next was the un-pitching of tents n clearing up n stuff. n we had something lik obstacle journey where we climbed thru the monkey bars wif hoola hoops tt we were nt supposed to touch. of coz, all of us had the help of our squadmates which supported each other to climb thru the hoops. coz ppl lik me dun haf enuff hand strength 2 climb on monkey bars la. so i was helped n i helped. it was a very new exp 4 me ya.. it was also 1 of my "1st times" haha... n then we played this supporting-a-log-wif-one-leg-game... it was rather fun la.. except tt i was @ the back n my bandage slipped out of the log a couple of times n i had 2 untie my bandage n tie my leg on the log again... the hopping fun muz b a very funny sight 4 the ppl watching haha... oh and then we built a "tower" which was none other then a couple of short logs n hoola hoop... ya but it was supposed 2 represent us la.. yup n i climbed to the top of the monkey bar together wif a few other std 1s... the whole squad of 36 couldn't fit on the top la, ya so majority stood on land. man i had a hard time trying to get down. it was thru the opp way la.. n i was totally freaked out. yup n cpl yingxiao then had 2 climb up n help me down lol. okay although i was freaked out i stil had a meaningful exp la haha.. @ least nw i learnt hw to climb up n down a monkey bar. of coz unless wif the help of @ least 4 ppl below me, or else i stil wudnt dare 2 climb up, or rather, wudnt b able to climb up myself... yup n so the climbing-up of the monkey bar was also a "lst time" for me2...
hmm and ya we had evaluation n stuff n we did lotsa clearing up lik moving the drains tt metal covering tt we used 4 campfire bak to their original positions, moved back canteen benches n also scrubbed the mass tins wif sand. yup we scrub mass tins wif sand. i dun think i've mentioned it b4 above, but after ytd's lunch n dinner we also had 2 scrub the mass tins on sand 2 la, it's supposed 2 make it whiter ya... yup n later we took a lotta photos n ya, it was dismissal. i cudnt bear to wear my totally-stained dhs exp tee home, so i decided to wear the pt kit i wore the day b4.. @ least it looked way cleaner then my dhs exp tee... well i didnt bring enuff clothes to camp ya... hmm n i lost my fork n spoon n can opener n butter knife... shud've labelled it ya... haha i guess my stuff r gonna b donated 2 sj or sth? haha i dunno la...
Well anyway after camp we went to kfc coz many wanted a refill of drinks ya.. n we gossiped alot n spent quite alot of time in kfc haha... well after tis camp we squadmates sure were much more bonded now... we laughed together n cried together... yup n kudos to ppl whu were ICs... they did a great job 2 me... yup n so overall, the camp was great n aquilia rawks!! =)
Hehe im now actually done wif this blog entry of mine, n it's 12.36am le... i spent 2 hrs on this entry lol... but all this recapping has done me great... maybe some yrs later i will read tis entry on my archive n remember all this wonderful events altogether again... haha yup okay i shall put my entry to a stop now... TOGETHER AS ONE!! =))
Time passes so fast, tomoro is the camp le... today was precamp, we did some camp craft, but i've 4gotten all the rope techniques le... im so dead... well anyway tis tml den settle la... well erm and we were casualties 4 some activation thing 2. i changed wif shilei and gt a pulse 0 breathing 0 slip of paper... ya and me n yijie were lying on the floor under a study bench lol... i didnt get rescued in the end though, i think it's becoz im "dead" ba.. since pulse 0 breathing 0. gt ppl tried to rescue me but in the end cannot rescue then run away 2 save other ppl le... haha lik a dead corpse... yup and we gt pumped by the seniors 4 quite a few times... guess our squad aint really in our best state today... haha and kind tzuhsiang and xun gave ppl prezzies.. and it's tzuhsiang's b'day 2day... ya and i seriously hafta say sorry coz i totally 4gt about it and instead of me givin her prezzie she gave me 1 instead... paiseh... hmm i think if im free after the camp i shall buy her a prezzie.. okay la tis entry is crap im juz tellin the whole world wut i did today.. but it's betta then nth hee... my tagboard seems a bit quiet though... haiz... well anyway tml is the last episode of wu chu cai hong, and im stuck in the camp... hoyee and ppl wanna get the show recorded... but we dun haf a recorder.. if nt we dunno hw to work it, 4 me n hoyee's case... haha yup and i gotta go pack my bag now... byebye!
Ooh! It's 3 days left 2 sec1 camp! lol im nt excited or sth la.. hmm my grp aquilia finished our camp flag and name tags le.. it's juz left wif the waxing n sewing 4 the flag... but yi'an's bringin it 2 her grandma's hse 2 sew so shud b okay ba.. hmm and we stil haf a performance 2 finalise... we actually wanted to do a cinderella plot which i changed the name 2 "christofella" coz the lead actor was supposedly kaiwen. haha i juz thot i'd find a guy's name tt starts wif C and rhymes wif rella... den i thot of christopher and started thinkin until it became christofella lol... hmm but we decided 2 change everything.. and nw the performance is supposed 2 b a magic universe beauty pageant i guess... hmm and the plot's funny... is it? haha i guess some dramatic acting will do... hee... and i havent finished my hw... yup i think i've only completed the chao xie cheng yu... which i realised tt i 4gt a li ju 4 one of the cheng yus in the middle of nowhere.. and nw i haf a piece of foolscap wif only lik 2 lines written and the whole pg blank in the middle of the stack of words... maybe nt stack la, actually it's juz a few pages.. but it stil looks funny u flip flip flip so many words and then u suddenly come to a pg wif 2 lines and u flip flip flip and the rest are full of words 2... im really havin an urge to redo everything from tt uncompleted cheng yu to the end.. fillin up tt empty pg of coz... but im so nt goin 2 do it i haf so much other hw 2 do and camp is coming on tis sat... and fri's gonna b real busy 2... i realli think it's time 2 get serious n stop mapling le. @ least tt's wut im thinkin nw, maybe after i've totally finished my hw i shall play maple again. hee. or maybe even b4 i'd even finish all my hw i'd start playin le lol...
Wee... maple has a new server now... and it's easy 2 get in too... haha... okay im gonna create new char in tt server now.. yup and i managed 2 scan 2 photos from my japan trip.. i didnt use my digi cam 2 take most fotos u c... yup the 1st foto is the princess photo shoot i took @ the universal studios tt i mentioned in the previous previous entry... the bkgd was done wif a computer haha... and the 2nd pic is me and my family wearing yukatas goin 2 eat a japanese style dinner... cool! yup tt's all 4 now... maybe there'll b some more coming out yup... okay tts all... bye!
Now it's the maple server check... lasts 4 30min... tts wut it said anyways... well now i really totally nth to do la.. so i blog. yup... haha i finally got into aquila... nt bad wut aquila wasnt tt full.. @ least, not in maple island haha... okay now i continue tokin abt japan... everywhere was very cool... as in temperature type of cool. the weather was good, no rain and stuff. in fact, there was alot of sun.. and yet the temperature sud stil stay so cool... impressive.. but tts becoz it's the winter season now la haha... i even gt sunburned in japan... on my hands coz i didnt wear any suntan lotion or anything la.. aiyo now i need to go off le.. next time... bye!
